"What's the harm in religion?" they said. covidiots like this being enabled in to death. Or those christian scientists (greatest oxymoron) that do not treat or even diagnose their diseases or illnesses and just die.
I think this mother should be charged with negligence or manslaughter. This girl's death could have been avoided or prevented!
"On June 10, Carysn’s mom, Carole, took Carsyn, a 16-year-old girl who was immuno-compromised with a history of health issues (including cancer), to a “COVID party” at her church, where more than 100 children without masks were in attendance."
FFS, taking a person/child or whatever who is Immuno-compromised to a place crowed with people in ANY circumstances rates, imo, as being Negligent, Uncaring, Insanitary, Dangerous and Abusive to say the very least.
Almost ALL Immuno-comprised people/patients have either very LITTLE or NO Immunity Responses available in their systems that can react to anything, even a mere scratch can become infected and eventually FATAL in an extremely short span of time.
That girls mother should be Charged with Negligent Intent to Cause harm to her Child.
Bad mother. Stupid decisions. This is what happens when you listen to buffoons.
If your going to listen to quacks (The pastor, Pres. Chump) and similar jackasses......good for you if you want to hurt yourself, (I could care less if you all die or suffer) but don’t bring anyone else into it. Or you should face criminal charges.
Why are there so many religious apologists out there, why aren't there more apologists for the other people with mental illnesses? Schizophenics, Bi-Polar, Psychopaths, Sociopaths, Manic Depressives - they all get a bad rap but the Religion Insanity gets a free pass.
personally i think personality disordered people deserve bad raps since they tend to be dangerous or abusive scumbags
i think people with mood disorders deserve compassion though
@demifeministgal People with mental health issues of all kinds can do a lot of harm to themselves and to others, we tend not to be kind when someone has hurt us but it isn't always their fault. I personally think that we need to start treating mental illness as a disease and not as a crime, send in the health care workers and not the cops.
@Surfpirate People, like myself, who have what is loosely 'called' a Mental Illness are no more dangerous to others than a cup of cold water is to a thirsty person 90% of the time.
Yes, there Sociopaths, Psychopaths out there BUT how many are REALLY what they are diagnosed as being and not just the usually pleas put across by Lawyers when it comes to Court Cases?
Pleas like, "Your Honour my Client suffered from such and such a Mental Breakdown, etc, when he/she murdered his wife and child."
In truth and my opinion it IS the 'supposedly SANE people armed with firearms that are the dangerous ones.
These 'loosely' labelled 'Mental Illnesses' come in all shapes and sizes ranging simple Introversion right through the whole spectrum, I, myself, have battling Chronic Recurrent Depression, Agoraphobia and Anxiety Attacks for decades now yet, just like countless others, I've never harmed a hair on the head of anyone nor anything intentionally or otherwise.
In actual fact, I've turned it around and used my 'experiences' with my Mental Illnesses to try my best to make myself a better Counsellor who works with others suffering from almost ALL kinds of Emotional and Psychological problems and Illnesses plus doing so in a completely Gratis, Pro Bono way as well.
Please do NOT TAR us ALL with the same brush, instead try to learn a bit more about who we are, what we endure, etc, etc, then judge yourselves BEFORE you judge US.
We need more of these cases charged as negligent homicide. The first amendment does not give you the right to kill your own children. I wonder how many others in the community were complicit in this pro-death behavior?
Carole Brunton Davis needs to undergo compulsory sterilization, and all of her remaining children (if any) taken into care.
I’m more sad than mad at the ignorance displayed in this story. Poor Carsyn didn’t have much luck in her young life, first having cancer at such a young age, leaving her immunocompromised, but even worse luck in that she was born to a mother who thought less of her daughter’s health than the edicts of her pastor and the moronic advice from her president. Yes...both the church and the mother should be prosecuted, if only as a deterrent for others.
Totally agree........and no plea bargains either.
