It seems the administration is atheist and should change be the name if the website to Atheists .

I may be wrong here, but none-the-less I seem to be getting the impression that some 'poor little snowflake' may feel a bit 'upset.'

Let's leave it as no more than a family squabble. Agnostics, atheists, etc. - we are in many respects allies, in my view especially with regard to the proselytizing and theocratic incursions of the religious folks.

I really do not care where someone stands in the non religious field. Whether they be atheist, agnostic, the hard or soft form of both, pantheist or even deist. As long as they have rejected religious dogma, and are tolerant, that does.

Judging by the comments on another thread relating to comments supposedly made by Neil deGrasse Tyson maybe the name "closet theist" would be more apt.

@DangerDave Why do non believers upset you so much ?.

As I stated in my bio. If there was one iota of evidence for any supernatural being I would reconsider my position but there isn't and just because you wish it so doesn't make it so.

@DangerDave So if our ancestors trying to make sense of a puzzling world had not invented gods would you still think they may exist.
Which ones are you doubtful about ?. Those inhabiting Mount Olympus, Thor and his mighty hammer, or maybe the creator of life in Oz during the dreamtime Or more likely the god adopted by the Jews when they changed from polytheism to monotheism to justify their warlike aquisitive behaviour as his chosen people.

@MoravianMoravian, DangerDave recently learned to say "gnostic atheist" and likes to use it in every post, yea, every sentence...........making it practically a nonsense phrase.

What's the big deal?
There are lots of agnostics here.
There are lots of atheists.
It's just the site name.

Apparently names and labels are what Dave lives by.
