OK...you Atheists - or is it agnostics? or Gnostics? or Theists? Are you Amphibious or Ambidextrous ? Both? Neither? Just curious...er...wondering?

We all have a little amphibian in us. We are mammals, but mammals are indirectly descended from amphibians. The first tetrapods to colonize the land were fish, and as they continued to evolve they gave rise to amphibians. Some of these evolved into reptiles, and some reptiles evolved into birds, while others evolved into mammals. So our ancestry goes fish → amphibians →reptiles →mammals.

For anyone needing proof that we are descended from amphibians I would suggest they observe some modern mammals that express the ancient slime genes. Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are are prime specimens.

By the way, I'm technically an agnostic, because I'm not 100% sure there is/are no god/gods. But functionally I'm an atheist, because I'm 99.9999999% sure that the true believers are full of shit.

So we're amphibious AND ambidextrous?

@Robecology
Exactly!

@Robecology both fins?

@Canndue
Actually, all four: two arms and two legs. All were adapted from what were originally lobe fins (as opposed to Ray fins). If you are interested in this subject I highly recommend a three-part documentary titled "Your Inner Fish."

Yes, yes I am...

I'd want to see him pitching underwater before confirming.

As for me, I'm an agnostic who prefers to be called an atheist.

Just don't call me late to dinner...

2

I do not let others define my usage of the word. For the jillionth time I am an agnostic atheist. BTW, what sort of water is this pitcher playing in and are there others like him?

And is he a pitcher or a picture?

2

I had a bit of a frog in my throat, does that count?

It depends...is it Ambidextrous or Ampbibious?

@Robecology It is an ambidextrous critter of an amphibious persuasion.

2

Autocorrect error probably but who knows? Maybe he is like The Mariner from “Waterworld,” having gills and all.

Our failed educational system. Which is glorified day care. On the property tax payers dime.

Well someone failed English pursuing a Journalism degree

To confuse the former words with the latter is neither funny nor smart. Just plainly stupid.

So , both lungs and gills ! Perhaps he should try out for water polo ? There's a grammar ap. you can download , that highlights misspelled words , and even notes if a word used does not make sense .

60 is just a month away and I find myself checking my spelling on occasion (occasion being one word that buggers me all the bloody time) but honest to goodness, just check it online if you aren't sure.

But “ocassion” looks strange, so I type “occasion”.

@yvilletom Exactly

Another washed up ballplayer.

3

Maybe he's the amphibian illuminati. Not to be confused with reptilian illuminati.
