Just checked my mailbox and found a paperback book with this title on it.
" Acts of Our Gentle God." The Glorious Dawning of a New Day on the Character of God. by Jay A. Schullberg.
"Gentle God," you've got to be joking?
WTF has this Author been smoking, injecting, drinking, etc, what ever it is I do NOT want any of it.
FFS, it starts off with a Chapter entitled " Have you ever wondered"and goes on for another 27 chapters of, imo, complete and unmitigated twaddle and utter bullshit.
But the best, imo, is the one entitled "God IS a Servant, Not a Slave Master."
Since WHEN does a mere Servant DEMAND and EXPECT Total, Unwavering Obedience, Trust and the like?
Is it not the MASTER who DEMANDS and EXPECTS that from the Slave/Servant?

SOunds like a good thing to start a fire with.

It sounds like you have a Jehovah's Witness for a neighbor.

No, they just roam around town spreading their horse-shit religion.
But, most unfortunately, I do have an Evangeloon for my next door neighbour though.

Its not a JW they don't put the authors name on their books.( I am a former jw) It must be another brand on religious nut

Read the Bible...In this fairy tale God has murdered millions.....and he promises another bloodbath when supposedly Jesus returns.

Make sure they paid postage unless they are a registered religious cult.

Hand delivered, no wrapping, no return address either.

@Triphid The Postal Service will bill them for postage. I tracked a paper copy flyer in my box just for fun. Was a "evangeloon" from the Philipines who has followers here in the USA. Found him on Facebook. The flyer contributed to my guinea pig bedding. We get 'em because we have that freedom of religion clause in the Constitution. And the tax exemption which really burns me up.

I haven't seen the book, however I have been receiving quite a few letters from strangers telling me how great their God is.

I've thought about answering the letters, but decided they weren't worth my time and threw them in the trash.

Like your attitude.
I USED to get a circular from the crazies at the Church of Scientology UNTIL I returned them all with this little poem written boldly across them,
L. Ron Hubbard found that his cupboard was forever bare,
the reason being that his Sc-Fi twaddle was more than others could bear,
and so he sought succour by conning the dumb-fuckers he found were everywhere,
instead of reality, he created an unreality and now his bullshit is has become clear,
"Pay ME your money, never ask questions, spread my manure here and there,
for when you do die, you can pick in the night sky,
any Planet you wish and YOU can rule as a King there,."

That reminds me.... As yet unreleased song I wrote recently.

Seems like you you may still be on the fence to give such landfill any time at all. One look at the title and into the trash it goes, then anger goes up thinking a valuable tree gave up its life for that.....

Me, "still on the fence," I've been a full on Atheist since I was about 8 or 9 years old.
How many actual people can YOU name that have had Expulsion Letters sent home from Sunday School/s?
I read that twaddle simply to get a good laugh at what those delusional Faithfools believe, have faith in and spend their lives following so blindly.
Plus, on many, many occasions it has made for truly wonderful 'ammunition' to fire back at them as well.

@Triphid I don't think Canndue took the time to read your post.

@fishline79 I agree with you.

Burn all the edges, etc, and hang it nearby as a warning.

Now you've my mind thinking of nailing it to a home-made Pentagram and placing it firmly in my front yard for ALL to see.

Could it be from your neighbour?

Unmitigated twaddle, I like that. 😁

Feel most free and welcome to use as and when ever you see fit.

Does your area allow someone to use your mailbox for whatever they want? Or was this book mailed to you?

Unfortunately Junk Mailers can, as well as God-mobsters and the Postal Service, have FREE access to our mailboxes UNLESS you have placed a WRITTEN notice on the mailbox saying something like " No Junk mail, Religious Pamphlets, etc, etc, ONLY MAIL Delivered by the Postal Service."
This piece of twaddle, crap, garbage, horse shit, etc, etc, was hand delivered some time during yesterday evening, NO wrapping, No Address, just the book, IF one can very loosely call it that.

@Triphid I have had similar offerings from a mental defective close to where I live. The local JWs also like to drop litter into my mail box.

@anglophone The local Je Ho's (Jehovahs Witlesses) have NEVER darken either my doorstep nor my front yard since the time, about 4 years ago, when they were dragging kids around with them on a summers day, 40+ degrees Celsius.
I gave the kids an icy cold drink of water and the adults had the unmitigated gall to ask where was theirs to which I calmly replied, " Try the tap over there and help yourselves, these children are BEING abused and it IS task to to alleviate that Abuse when ever, where ever and how ever I can."

They obviously haven’t read their 10 commandments...

The said Jay A. Schullberg is a typical mental defective and God Mobster.

When we get something like that, I look for an address & return it to them so I'm not cluttering up my trash bin.

I'd rather trash it. Why let them litter someone else's mailbox?

@RussRAB They usually already have, but I figure if they start getting their crap back, it might give them pause to send things to my address.

For junk mail with a postage paid return envelope you can just cram the entire contents back in that, if you are so inclined
I just shred anything with my info on it and put the rest to recycling.

@BufftonBeotch Yes, I do that too.
