Extinct tree from the time of Jesus rises from the dead
This is why I always answer the question:"Don't you believe in god?" with "I believe in Mother Nature."
Well when Jesus comes back can we make a cross from it and, you know, let him die for our sins and what not?
What marvel’s science and smart people can accomplish!!
Exactly what time are they referring to, what is this Jesus time they speak of? Is this a fairy tale tree?
No, the seeds came from Masada, from 79ad.
@Willow_Wisp So not bathed in the blood of Jesus but the blood of a bunch of Jewish fanatics who thought they could take on the military might of the Roman Empire. The title is misleading but I suppose it got more click bait that way.
Although when you think about history, around 79 A.D. the creation of the Jesus Myth was probably just starting to pick up steam so the title is partially correct.
Older seeds from the pyramids have been grown in the past.
Amazing! When I plant from a seed packet, germination is a crap shoot! Seeds that are fresh and new!
Personally I just think it's kind of cool if they're able to bring them back from the seeds that were stored in 2000 years ago. Stay away from the velociraptor though.
Don't tell them about that pack of velociraptor seeds I have in my storage unit.
This is a huge win for biodiversity and agriculture!
This is why science is critical.
Superstitious Crusaders set out to destroy them and two science minded ladies undid a medieval ecological atrocity.
I wish all such crimes were so easy to repair.
