Biden Covid adviser says it's not worth living after age 75.

Watched a movie called Soylent Green with Charles Heston. Where Seniors were eaten for food.
Made in 1973 showing the world in 2022. Interesting similarity.

Do we eat Biden?

I remember that movie well. At first was very concerned but now see it as a 'b' grade movie. Still, it does present the presence of an Euthanasia program, which we desperately need, but it also shows the reason such a program was gotten. Of course the usual Charleston persona of being a tough guy with lots of guns which he needed to protects himself from the desperate 'crazies.'

So the quest is do we resort to cannibalism to get rid of some of us? One problem with cannibalism concerns eating anothers brains *"However, there is one organ that should be avoided at all cost: the brain.

The Fore people of Papua New Guinea, until relatively recently, practiced transumption — eating deceased relatives. It is this isolated group that demonstrated the very serious ramifications of eating another human’s brain.

Kuru is a unanimously fatal, transmissible spongiform encephalopathy; it is a prion-based disease similar to BSE (bovine spongiform encephalopathy), which is also known as mad cow disease."*

Now if we were to eat the Republians we need not worry as it seems there is little brain matter.

There is very little or no choice or human rights. Since your owners own your brains though the media, own all the good land, own the Government, own your home and they own you. Brain will be served on a plate how ever they want.
Except one thing.... They don't own me.

I’m a NECROPHILIAC!!

Nah, he'd be a little tough and stringy.

It's the seniors they want to eat.
About 95% of the American Covid deaths are over age 50. American social society is worth more than anything Else they can steal from the public. Follow the money.

He is one of a panel of experts…the whole point of having a panel is to get a variety of opinions, including his…and then take a consensus view. It would not be healthy or desirable to appoint a panel of people who all held the same view…that would merely be an echo chamber.

If they are planning vaccinating the whole country. You don't someone on your staff wanting to cut the life expectancy by alot. Or the truth will be told.

@Castlepaloma Its a panel…they will all hold different personal views, but it will be science led, as far as the data is concerned. Opinions are just that, and carry no weight unless backed up by factual evidence. A personal opinion which he held in 2014 need not necessarily be one he still holds today in any case!

@Marionville

If Biden wants to vaccinated the entire country. You don't want someone on your staff who is a covid advisor that thinks it's worth it to cut life expectancy by a couple of years. America has already shorten their life span by 2 years for the first time in modern history.
It's a mind set to rob seniors of their social security.

@Castlepaloma He is only one of a number of others on a panel and quite frankly he’s not a one trick pony…he does have expertise on a whole range of other things which in Biden’s opinion probably makes him a valuable panel member. In any case I can’t quite understand why you are fixating on this one opinion by this one panel member. To get a balanced view it’s healthy to hear a whole range of differing views even the crackpot ones! As this guy gets nearer to 75 himself I believe he will be revising his views in any case, if he hasn’t already done so!

@Marionville

Seen nothing retracted. Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel is age 63.

@Castlepaloma I’d lay money on it that he’ll have changed his mind on this in ten years time when he’s 73!

@Marionville
You might win that bet. LoL

I read the article from sketchy source The Daily Mail. The adviser makes his personal choice clear that he does not personally want to live after the age of 75. He is not telling other people what to do.

His body, his choice- as long as he is not infecting the rest of us with an infectious disease, right?

Biden is a kick-ass president.

Do better with your posts, guys.

Well, this is the first I'm hearing of this, so thanks, I guess, for bring it to my attention. The desperation from far-right and far-left media outlets is amazing.

I'm going to go with this clarification here:
[usatoday.com]

Interesting as years ago there was a similar article in the "Atlantic." a good case was made of not living past 75 but times have changed. Also, what should one do to cease living? We have no humane euthanasia programs.

@JackPedigo I guess people can make living wills. I wouldn't want to be a vegetable on a machine personally.

@UrsiMajor Unfortunately, Medicare pays for end of life care programs. A letter, I wrote, appeared in all 3 of our local papers. While writing the letter a piece was given on NPR with an example of a woman who had a defibrillator placed in her chest and linked to a monitor. Whenever heart stopped the monitor would send an electric shock to restart it.

Great I designed my life to live over age 100.

This usatoday says
Biden COVID-19 adviser, said those over 75 years old should receive the vaccine last.

They got nearly 7 billion people on earth not fully vaccinated before they catch me.

@UrsiMajor

If I loose my steering wheel or someone has to wipe my arse. Then I will go, not death by vaccines. Since slow Joe has taken over, more Americans Covid deaths have happened in his command.

A 100 million deaths by Tobacco is catagiuos self consumed and second hand smoke and 4 times the annual deaths than Covid, and nobody cares.

@Castlepaloma I'm concerned about your reading comprehension and grammar.

Direct cut and paste from the USAToday article saying Emanuel never said people over 75 should be the last to get the vaccination. I guess when your mind is made up, nothing is going to change it.

"Emanuel never said that individuals over the age of 75 should be the last to receive a vaccine for COVID-19, nor does the work that The Federalist points to indicate he may hold that position."

@UrsiMajor
Yes, it was cut and pasted from what your post. This was my response because couldn't find anything else that said he did not say age 75 is not worth it. Nor retracted his statement.

@Castlepaloma "“The claims in this piece are completely false,” said Kenneth Baer, a spokesperson for Emanuel.

TJ Ducklo, a spokesperson for Biden, emphasized where the president-elect stands on the matter.

"The President-elect believes that the vaccine process should prioritize safety and efficacy, and be fully transparent so the American people have confidence in any vaccine being put forward," Ducklo said. "It should also be distributed equitably so that everyone — not just the wealthy and well-connected — receives the protection and care they deserve.""

@UrsiMajor

At first it looked you were saying my post was false then showed me USAtoday post was false. I was reacting with an opinion., Who knows what goes on in the deep world of poli-tricks and programed media.

He is only speaking for himself. As long as he is not putting his personal plan into regulations for everyone else he has the right to his opinion. And, incidentally, for lots of people it is not really a bad plan. When my parents were dying I visited them in their nursing homes and saw first hand the horrors of elderly suffering to get another few days of painful breathing. So did he. Incidentally, you cannot specify one age for everyone to finish their contributions. I have seen 85 year old scientists who made real contributions and were at the top of the squash ladder (routinely trouncing 25 yo young bucks).

5

If that is the standard of his advisors I pity Biden.
At the age of 75 I look at overweight middle aged couch potatoes with pity and maybe a little sympathy before i get om my mountain bike and complete a 20 mile circuit on forest tracks where i live.

No. It is one adviser's personal preference for himself only as clarified here.

….and Biden is how old? (Rhetorical)

Age 77, it's time to take his advice from the Covid advicer.

Biden says 350 million Americans are vaccinated. Time for him to go, worth more eaten.
