Xstians love to proclaim how badly they are being persecuted as Xstians, especially when they are bombing the shit out of people who are brown skinned and sitting on a bunch of petrochemicals - they can assume that they aren't Xstians and feel good about bombing the shit out of those heathen primitives.
Not a very fair trade, one's arms for christ. But, then again there has never been anything fair in Christianity.
