Yep. I just returned from performing a small (outdoor) wedding where I was the only vaccinated person in the entire group. The photographer and the family of 4 had just traveled, and only recently recovered from Omicron, having barely testing negative after many positives to get on the plane. They were complaining about how much sicker they were than they expected to be with this new variant, which they had heard wasn't so bad.

Will they be getting vaccinated now? Nope.

I requested they give me 6 feet of space if they didn't want to wear masks during their wedding. They kept forgetting about giving me space and kept and getting much closer than I was comfortable with. No wonder they caught covid.

I had to be a part of a wedding. Nobody wore a mask except the photographer. I ate my filet, dropped my gift in the bird cage, went to the rest room, changed out of my tux, gave it back to the father of the bride and went home.

@barjoe For weddings even normally careful folks drop their guard and forget to distance. That's who I deal with every day. I have a wedding coming up with 50 guests. I met them today, everyone wore masks. Betcha on wedding day (2 days from now) nobody except a few elderly folks will be wearing masks. I will be keeping my distance.
