Putin is in effect threatening Ukraine with the above. What is NATO willing to do when his frustrations finally lead him to employ chemical weapons? I don’t pretend to know the answers, but it’s something I think we need to start contemplating?

Putin should be experiencing these effects himself first hand. If he survives maybe he can be interviewed about it all later.

Imo, they should put Putin in the barrel of a huge gun and try to put Putin in to orbit WITHOUT any protective gear, etc, of course.

Remember when we were told Iraq was about to use WMD's? That Gadafi was going to liquidate his population? That North Vietnam had attacked a ship in the Gulf of Tonkin? That Grenada was going to build a large airstrip for Soviet planes?

The US always comes up with excuses for intervention. This entire problem derives from the US help to overthrow an elected government in 2014 in Ukraine.

To point out that false charges have often resulted in unwarranted US interventions is not whataboutism.

To point out US responsibility in creating the current situation is also not whataboutism.

@Garban That we should be equally skeptical of all sides. Listen to what they both say and compare with what can actually be confirmed.

@Garban Depends on the topic and the situation. In any case, I am not proposing an either/or. I engage CNN at least 20 times as much as I do Russian media. When they charge something serious, I go to see what the Russians say. Remember, the Western Media continually carried the lies about Iraqi WMDs and about Gadafi's genocide of his people.

Omission is also a form of censorship. And they are not giving the Russian side of events nor the conflict.

I caught CNN lying last night. At 11pm Eastern, the reporter in UKR said, "Russia has made false accusations of UKR having bioweapons." But there have been no independent inspections of those biolabs. So the accusations have not been found to be false. Little falsehoods llke that add up. And not giving the Russian explanation for something is not good, balanced journalism.

@Garban I don't think he is stupid enough to use them.
I also think the Nazis in Ukriane are evil enought to use it on their own peple to gain Western support. If an incident occurs, we should carefully look at the evidence.

@Garban That's scaremongering. If you follow the history, Russia tolerated continual NATO expansion but drew the line at Ukraine, especially since it only came about as a result of a US sponsored coup in2014. We would have invaded Mexico in a similar situation.

If he uses chemical weapons against white Christians, I think NATO needs to act militarily against him, otherwise they are cowardly hypocrites. If that might invite nuclear war, we will just have to hope Putin is sane enough to avoid it. Hopefully he is not nuts or zealously religious like the Iranians to start nuclear war to bring on the afterlife like they are.

NATO won't fight russia. If putin orders chemical weapons to be use, it would result in russia being ban worst than what they have already been sanction. Putin doesn't have the balls to use nukes in Ukraine.

With that sawn-off little Megalomaniac and seeing himself as either Stalin or Lenin re-incarnate NOTHING he dies or did has EVER or will ever surprise me.
He desperately wants to revive and rebuild the Communist U.S.S.R. and make himself the successor to Stalin and unfortunately nothing will stand in his way or so he believes in his sick, warped demented little Communist mind.

Global Thermonuclear War might not a bad idea for eliminating a few unchecked dangers to the earth. Using this war as an excuse we could knock off Kim, Vladmir, and a few other dangerous dictators on the planet.
So we can start over.

Really, then if that be your opinion then my greatest wish and desire is that YOU are the ONLY remain creature left alive on this then ravaged planet BUT you are deformed, diseased and little more than a slimy, slithering carrion feeder.
And btw, if that be your version of humour in times like these then imo, you be a very very sick person mentally speaking.
