There is a national blindness to internal terrorists unless they can be given a connection with an external power.
When I say a national blindness, I mean all nations have this blindness.

Did you mean to say "one of"? I swear Agnostic sometimes "loses" words.

Not discounting the horror of the Oklahoma bombing, and the disgrace of domestic terrorists, but 9/11 was much more devastating, at least in terms of lives. What a shitty wake-up call that was.

Oklahoma was also a wake-up call, but in a different way. I think it was an alarming indicator of what was yet to come.

This is a recurrent glitch in the website. In our posts, it deletes numbers: years, numerals and cursive. Adding a hyphen helps.

Words that get deleted: "up, size, rate, service, teen, child, girl, boy, daughter, son, young" and more.

I constantly reword my posts. Thesarus.com helps.

@Gwendolyn2018

For the last two years, I always sent them a message about deleted words (Contact). Included my post link. Listed words deleted. "Please fix this! It's maddening."

At first they replied they are working on the glitch. Now they don't even reply. More people need contact them about it.

@LiterateHiker They have left the building. I have a new because repeated requests for them to fix my access under the old , or a password reset went unanswered.

I don't even have to look at the link. I remember very well his infamous name: Timothy McVeigh. And also his partner in crime, Terry Nichols. Rot them both, and the wacko militia-head ideologies they followed.

McVeigh was executed, Nichols is still rotting in prison.

Executing McVeigh was a mistake. He should have been held in solitary confinement for the rest of his life.

Most of them have been.
Throughout this country's history, most of the horrific attacks against our citizens have been perpetrated by other citizens.

We never learn.
Never.

Because allowing people to be murdered is more important than providing mental health support to those who desperately need it.

@anglophone Or letting racist pieces of shit get away with murder. You know, just because they did it in groups.

@anglophone In this case I don't think mental illness was the problem. I think in this case it was plain old stupidity and malevolence.

Homemade terrorism, we have not learned anything.

Your word after "homegrown" was deleted by Agnostic.com. You will need to use a synonym.

Because of the glitch, I constantly have to reword posts. Aggravating. Can't write "We steeply hiked up...."

So I use "ascend" instead. That's not how I talk.

@Gwendolyn2018 Hm-mm, when I started college in 1952, only one major dictionary defined “fuck” and several variants. It was the only one I would buy.

I’ll test the cu-word. My New Oxford American electronic d says “cum grano salis” means “take with a pinch of salt”.

@Gwendolyn2018

So far, the glitch is only in our posts, not in our comments.

@LiterateHiker Many computers have a “parent” on/off switch in their settings. Have people checked theirs?

@Gwendolyn2018 The computers I use have a Settings icon on screen (Apple) or a search bar for typing the word "settings" (windows)

The problem with this is religion is not suspected as a place where crime is propagated. Remember dog is always on their side.
