Blowing up kids however is still acceptable.

What if the pregnancy is the result of rape by a priest and the mother wants to sue the church for child support?

1

If it is important to her, then I am sure she can find a priest who will ignore the archbishop.

She did. In DC which is not run by an archbishop with Inquisitionist longings.

I am not into the fantasy cannibal ritual. But it really is not the position of one priest to decide who gets served communion.

Funny how the church is getting deeper into our politics. I am seeing a fascist theocracy starting to develop.

3

I'm hoping Nancy calls the Pope and tells him to shut the bishop the fuck up.

I read once of a man being denied communion. He responded thusly:

Is this the Lord's table or yours. The priest responded it was the lord's. He responded, then I'll just help myself.

The whole concept of separation of church and state is so that the church would not have undo influence on the government. Sounds like he was trying to use his position to influence hers.

I read or heard somewhere that 'separation of church and state' is not explicitly stated in the First Amendment, and therefore it allows distortion of interpretation. Maybe that is why it is so difficult to demonstrate secularism in America?

@Ryo1
So to remove all doubt from your mind ... why don't you just read THE FIRST AMENDMENT?

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

@AtheistInNC OK. That clause sounds explicit enough. Why has it been so difficult to exercise the separation of church and state in the US, then?

BTW, I found the article I read some time ago. The article mentions the very clause you cited.

@Ryo1 I do not think there is any mention of the church not paying taxes either, but somehow they get away with that. I actually used to think that their tax evasion was a trade off for them staying out of politics, but I guess that was just a little fantasy I had.

So much for separation.

Those wafer things that dissolve almost instantly are not at all satisfying.

How dare you to prevent Nancy from drinking his holy blood and eating of his body because of this. She cannot be involved in ritual cannibalism because of her involvement in not wanting you to be born. I'm sure Nancy at least had limits to her involvement while you have none to yours.

4

Whenever someone is denied involvement in religious acts and rituals, they should rejoice, their life is better for it.

2

If she really was as much of a alcoholic as Republicans try to paint her as , then being denied access to alcohol from anybody might actually be devastating to her .

4

If I know Nancy she will stick to her guns.

Perhaps someone should keep communion from him as well since he and the church leaders can’t put a stop to all the pedophilia from their priests!
