Can we all just agree to NOT buy into whatever comes after BluRay? I'm tired of updating my movie collection.

I buy second hand DVDs watch them, unbox them and then ship them to my daughter and her family in the mountains 800 klms away where tv reception is not the best.

I hear that. I'm not even at BluRay. lol

I don't either. I have whatever is before. I don't watch DVDs much. Going to donate mine to a nursing home a lot of my clients end up going to. They haev a lot of donated vcrs dvds even and bluerays.

@gigihein that's so sweet of you! I used to collect CD's back in the day. I got to the point where I got tired of boxing them up and moving them. (At one point I had over 1000 CD's). I donated 500 to the Nashville Public Library.

@Duke If like our local libraries would have sold them as they do not have the storage either and most CDs have yesterday's use by date on them. The same with books. In this state they try to only hold one copy of anything amongst several hundred libraries. An efficient courier service ships them from one end of the state to the other when you put in a request for something not held at your local branch.
