I choose to stay on Twitter. It's a valuable platform, the only social media I post on. Progressives must remain to keep their voice out there. I do block a lot tho. Anyone who engages me whose profile has, MAGA, Christian, GOP, hated for Biden, Antivaxxer, claims to be a Patriot when they're not. I instantly block them. Stay on Twitter. Voice your progressive opinions and politely make fun of people's religions.

Anybody asked you?

Ummm.. hate to nit pick but this is technically Social Media and you do most assuredly post here. 😂😂

Twitter banned me permanently for pointing out the craven idiocy of all the religious lunatics that infest it. Twitter is part of the same swamp that Trumpty Dumpty embodies.

Hold my social media site while I post on a social media site that a separate social media site is the only social media site on which I ever post.

@CallMeDave This is agnostic. We're family. Twitter has billions of followers, as does Facebook and Instagram but I don't post on them, I lurk. I don't count this as a social media site, it's better than that. It's a platform and a forum for atheists & agnostics. There are a few crazies on here, but they're few and far between

@barjoe This is my only social media site. I don't lurk on others, I don't have any others.

@CallMeDave Dave here's a cookie for you.

@barjoe wait. Reddit doesn't count, right?

@CallMeDave It counts of you feel like getting down voted.

Great attitude

@Cecilia2018 Thank you. It's the attitude I choose. I'm only polite about making fun of believers and their faith because otherwise I'd get suspended by Twitter. If I had the choice, I'd be oh so rude and impolite. Only on this forum can I mercilessly insult religious people with impunity.

Thank you for your service

I use twitter for posting petitions. I hope Musk doesn't sink it.

3

I'm afraid if I get on Twitter I will spend too much time arguing with idiots, trying to set them straight. I'm just too busy with other things right now.

2

I've been on Twitter too long to leave and have too many friends there, too, so what if muskrat owns it? It was business as usual nothing had changed.

I got banned. Some asshole said that Trump raping a 16yo was the same as Clinton getting a blowjob from a consenting adult. I called him an equivocating cunt. Apparently you're allowed to normalize the rape of a child, but you're not allowed to call someone who does that a cunt. They asked me to delete it and submit to a 3 day suspension. I said no. I appealed, and they came to the same conclusion and asked again. I said no again. I was basically blocked from using Twitter until I complied, so I never tried to log in, but occasionally I'd click a link which happened to be on Twitter, and when the link took me there, they'd ask again instead of showing the content. It was like this for a little while until they finally just enacted a permanent ban. Good fucking riddance. I don't want to be part of any platform that isn't smart enough to realize normalizing child rape is worse than saying a naughty word.

Banned for life?

@barjoe I suppose. They don't offer me the remove comment and submit to suspension deal anymore.

I was on Twitter since their start but almost never used it, when a lot of imbeciles were reinstated by Musk, I decided to close my account for good, one thing is free speech and another thing is hate speech.

#metoo. I deleted it after his antisemitic remark on his first day. I like @barjoe but completely disagree with this sentiment. If you stay in an org which is fomenting treason then one is no different than the Cons who stay in the new gop. Certainly paying for a blue slash would not be brilliant strategy for stopping Musk.

@rainmanjr Homie don't pay. I'm not interested in a ☑️. Twitter is a free platform still and if there aren't progressive people left on it, it will just be a forum for the right wing, which it is not. Yet.

@barjoe Good luck, then.

Why block those you mention? 'Know your enemy', don't they say? 😉

I hate them. They annoy me. I don't need to be annoyed.

2

Tried Twitter. Never really liked it. Maybe I’ll check it out again.

I’ve never used Twitter. Do you realize AgnosticDotCom is social media?

skado Level 9 Nov 30, 2022

It is a social media platform, but Twitter has like half billion participants as does Facebook and Instagram. Agnostic it's my favorite. We're like family here.

I've never been on Twitter or any pay site. I also firmly believe that to be a Patriot one would of had to have served in the military. The term is misused by some who believed the DJT false narrative. Bone Spurs was never a Patriot.

A little puss is about it.

If, for instance, a Department of Justice Head risks life and limb to punish someone who tried to end Democracy in the United States, you wouldn't consider them a patriot? Seems like an unnecessarily narrow definition.

It's free. So far.

Watch yourself. With all the firings and mass resignations, it can’t be that safe anymore. Be careful if you post ANY personal info.

That applies to the internet in general.

@jlynn37 True…..but even more so there. Ya got the new leader there now who, if anyone, should be considered to be evil, or ‘The Antichrist’. Look at the way he treats his employees.

You do you, I do me and in doing so let's strive to love one another and do or cause no harm.

To anybody anywhere.

@Jolanta I want to do harm to Vladimir Putin. Is that wrong?

@Flyingsaucesir It would be for me. I would want him removed from power and unable to do harm to others. I would also want him tried for crimes against humanity and war crimes.

@Flyingsaucesir I agree. I'd love to see him torn to pieces.

@jlynn37 What he (@barjoe) said 🤣

@Flyingsaucesir I think many want to do him harm, however none of us know his experiences in life.

@jlynn37 The very act of doing that would be causing someone harm (Putin and his allies) so this is a round-robin POV. It can't happen so using it is more of an appeasement strategy, IMO. Our only concern lies with if Putin feels desperate, and justified enough, to use a nuke. Maybe many of them because using one would bring an onslaught. I'd therefore say Putin is causing harm to all of us.
@Jolanta His experiences no longer matter because it's all of us he threatens. He's done the crime and must suffer harm in order to be stopped from carrying it out.
