I'm thinking that having hot, wild sex with that crazy, young woman was still a great thing but marrying her, having kids and then dealing with the fallout for the next 40 years was a bit of a mistake. Faking my own death would have been a good idea. πŸ˜‰

Don't overdo any stage in life. There is time to be a child, to grow up, to finish education, be independent, to save, to start and to build a family and to enjoy a long retirement..... while living ever day in the moment and not wasting a moment on religion.

A wise man told me recently that... "when you overdo anything, overspend time, overspend energy anywhere, something else must give. Remember that!"

Buy Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. And keep buying them with ever spare cent you can find.

I'm a big fan of physical gold and real estate without encumbrances, stocks have always reminded me of going to a casino but never as an investment. I need something solid that I can hold in my hand, I figured out a long time ago that I can't take it with me but at the same time I do love a game of high stakes poker, cash only, no IOU's.

@SnowyOwl Over time shares in solid companies have greatly outperformed physical assets. Warren Buffett became one of the richest men on Earth by buying good companies and holding long term. I'm nowhere near Warren, but I've done extremely well mimicking him. Only wish I had begun a couple of decades earlier.

@jeshuey Whatever works for you is fine by me, also what works for me is fine by me. No quarrel here, be happy, life is short and death is for eternity.

I've been on the stock market for about 20 yrs and read an article if you want to make money Amazon is too unstable for use as a long term money maker. I like "buy Gold". And since Jobs passed Apple is also too volatile. Right now the millenials have dominated the stock market and they raise the costs of one useless stock after another then sell them off. They are unpredictable. Look at some stock you like if it has a straight line to heaven it's a bad sign if they all sell it.

Oh my goodness, how I wish I could have sent a message from the future to my younger self in the past. So many decisions I should have boldly made for myself, sooner, rather than float along with what others expected of me. Too late now, so at least I can enjoy some peace and happiness now after all is said and done.

I heard this phrase for the first time only a few weeks ago, in a Lincoln Project podcast. I forget the specific context, but it had to do with signing on to any part of Republican Party ideology. Words to live by.

Maybe don't marry crazy but crazy sex is awesome.

Tell that guy named Steve "I love you" back.

My word of advice to my 30-year old self is: Having that vasectomy when you did turned out to be REALLY smart after all.

Make better use of your time; it's the most valuable thing you'll ever have.

Good advice and good words to live by. Still, we all fuck up on occasion, that's just how things go in the real world.

Here's some fentanal, kid. Take six.

Do me a favour, Sunshine - don't ever try to date my daughter or one of my sons, you won't survive the attempt. πŸ˜€

@SnowyOwl But that's my goal.

Don’t get married at 21

22 to be precise, dodged a steak knife to the heart, an arson on my house and a contract hit, still standing but I did get served papers today and I haven't even seen her in person since 1996 when I was in family court and she asked me 'Why did you have to fuck me like a whore?'
Truth be told I always fucked her the way she said she liked it, even if I didn't.

@SnowyOwl Jeez, sounds like your life with your ex was crazier than any episode of Jerry Springer. Congrats on surviving her. I hope the sex was worth it... I admire her restraint, lol....

34 didn't work out for me, either.
