People all over Twitter "celebrating" Adolf Hitler's birthday. All are MAGA Republicans and most are Twitter Blue 🔵. My account is still locked out for saying Jack Texeira should have a military tribunal and face a firing squad. These Nazis symps are perfectly fine by Elon Musk who hasn't posted on Hitler's birthday, but Elmo blew up a rocket in Hitler's honor.

Fun Facts Hitler and Trump both suffered from the same mental disorder -- malignant narcissism. Both had/have dreams of absolute power, both demanded loyalty from everyone around them, both considered themselves to be the smartest guys in the room, and bvoth of them are/were batshit insane.

At least Hitler had the decency to die at the age of 56 while Trump just keeps going on and on and on and...

Hitler also had a lower GI distress that caused him to fart excessively and Trump, well, Trump just looks like someone who farts constantly so that's one more thing they shared.

They're both meth addicts...

Thay say time heals all wounds but it obviously also makes people stupid again.

I wish I could launch my rocket.

I can relate my friend and most likely grounded for the duration but I had many successes in my long past.

"Blue" voters celebrating Hitler? I haven't seen that.

Not blue voters. Twitter Blue. Members who pay $7 month to have a blue checkmark which was formerly a verification for notable and prominent people. You don't go on Twitter much do you?

@barjoe OH, thanks. Yes, I do Twtr often, but I never bit on the blue check. And I never paid any attention to those who had it, because it didn't mean anything.

@mischl It used to mean something. It meant that if a prominent person had the blue check, you'd know they are who they say they are. Now any moron with $7 can get one. Most of the Twitter Blue subscribers are right wing white nationalists. I'm never going to pay for what's always been a free platform. I just got reinstated BTW.

Elon Musk did NOT blow up a rocket in Hitler's honor. Elon Musk did NOT blow up a rocket. His rocket launch just happened to blow up during a test flight. It is common and expected events while testing new rocket technology.

@jlynn37 He launched it on 4/20. You choose to view it as a coincidence, which it may be. I chose to view it differently, which it also may be. The fact that I've always hated the guy, even before everyone else did, may make me biased. Think there's something wrong with that?

@barjoe He chose to launch it on Apr. 17, was approved by FAA to do so, cancelled due to technical issues and rescheduled it for first opportunity after the issue was corrected.

@SeaGreenEyez I think he's pro Hitler

@barjoe Actually 20/4. The USA is the only country in the world that shows the date in this way.
I wonder how that started ?

@SeaGreenEyez Hitler was born April 20, 1889. 1939 on his 50th birthday he made it April 20th a German national holiday. Pro-Nazis to this day mark this celebration. Twitter today was filled with messages as I described in the above post. So yes it coincides with 420 but it has the darker meaning unfortunately.

@Moravian USA were British colonies in 17th and 18th century. Brits wrote dates that way. About 100 years ago they gradually changed it to match Europe. US still uses imperial measurement for many things as well. 420 as in 4/20. Whether it's April 20 or 20 April doesn't really matter.

@barjoe Only when it was written as April 20 th not 4/20.
I was kidding an American friend that there was only one third world country in addition to the USA that still uses the imperial measurement systemn. I was wrong. There are two. Liberia and Phillipines..
You say it doesn't matter but it does cause confusion and can be dangerous. Apparently a mix up between imperial and metric by a NASA employee caused a serious incident.

@Moravian I know all the metrics and most educated Americans do. I guess I do convert it in my head. Still can't get the grasp of Celsius, I can convert it but I think Fahrenheit. Put it this way, if it's 32°C outside it's pretty hot, of it's 32° F outside, it's pretty cold. That all you hafta know. .

@barjoe It is usueful having a good grasp of both. I grew up with imperial and then had to adopt metric so I have a good knowledge of both.. I still use miles for distance and pints for beer but I prefer to measure in metres and cm. and I prefer Celcius to Fahrenheit..
I am currently arranging a holiday in Ireland in July with an American friend. She is booking the hotels and I am booking the ferries from Scotland to NI. She suggested dates of 7/7 going over and 7/12 coming back. I looked at it and thought WTF we are going for a few days not a few months and then twigged that she had reversed the day/month.

So one can freely post shit idolizing Hitler on Twitter, but you can't suggest that a traitor to the USA face justice? WTF? Elon Musk, eat my shorts, you fucking wackadoodle!
