A simple explanation is that the local construction company owner needed a big job so he
prayed for a new contract to build a church

The lord clearly wanted them to have a new and bigger church!!!?!! 🙏🏼😇🙏🏼

It's that "working in mysterious ways" thing .... 😏

Especially when it's mid-service and full of people.

They were praying to the wrong god and the real god got madder and madder.

In todays world, I suppose women can be thankful he's not impregnating them, virginity intact. Especially in forced carry states.

But ... But ... A cross is still standing.

Therefore, miracle!!

Jesus wanted a better church.

I saw a post a few years back praising god. He completely destroyed this grandmas house and the only thing left was the 4 walls to her “prayer closet” . God had spared the prayer closet

I wonder if anyone questioned why Grandma was praying in a closet.

Or maybe it just hates churches.

It hates all the world religions.

@ADKSparky Quite possibly, I could include temples and Mosques etc. under churches. But it is well to remember there is no evidence that god does not prefer atheists and agnostics.

While there are a lot of good reasons to think it may do so. After all we don't, tell it what to do all the time, expect special treatment, set up fake gods in its name, use it to fool and exploit others or claim to have special knowledge of it. You got to think if there is a god, then it would be a very foolish god if it did not prefer us.

But maybe that was part of god's plan. That could have been an unruly church or maybe god needed the parts for a building in heaven. 🙂

In religious math, 0 + 0 = 1 😂
