It's not guns, although at least knives don't usually cause mass slaughter.
However, what is it that leads to so much murderous violence?

Mr Allen was confirmed dead at the scene close to the Eclipse venue on Castle Canyke Road in Bodmin, Cornwall, following reports of a street brawl.
Seven men and women with suspected stab wounds were taken to hospital.
Police have been granted by magistrates more time to question a man, 24, in connection with their murder inquiry.

My suspicion is that the world is in such peril now (overpopulation, climate degradation, inflation) that people prone to depression are just giving up/saying ''what tha fuck?'' and giving in to their primitive instincts.

“Eclipse released a statement saying it was "deeply saddened" by the events and its "thoughts are with the victims and their families".”. No prayers.
I think the pressures of everyday life are worsening, due to the ultra-conservatives.

In half of all murders the victim or perpetrator was legally drunk, so alcohol plays a big role.

Let's have a prohibition on alcohol, then the shootings will be inter gangsters instead, while the NRA will continue to make a profit.

@Petter No, but it does suggest that people with alcohol issues shouldn't have access to guns.

@Druvius Joke.
