I can't agree with you on this, I fine "woke" used in place "naive", not in place of educated or enlightened.

Perhaps in place of empathetic.

The above definitions were established before republicans took it up as a pejorative, using it as a replacement for "naive", which was the antithesis of what ir actually meant.

Sorry to interrupt but I believe that you owe me $20. (D.J. Trump wins GOP nomination)
You can DM me for payment details

@Alienbeing Btw I agree with your assessment of GOP dumbness. However, nobody ever went broke overestimating the stupidity of the American public.

@273kelvin I think Nazi's and the players in the old Japanese Empire wetn rather broke.

@Alienbeing "I think Nazi's and the players in the old Japanese Empire wetn rather broke."
Big and stupid are not mutually exclusive.

Those who consider themselves empathetic, educated or enlightened are awfully narcistic, indoctrinated and agenda driven at times.

You hardly ever hear anyone who describes themselves as being "woke". It is almost always others who do so.

Stay woke!

What is the insult about being woke? I simply do not get it. Of course I find some in conversation about how much they hate "woke" and they have given themselves away immediately.

It became a dogwhistle for degenerates like DeSantis to justify their cruel corrupt actions.

I think they deliberately chose "woke" because the word originated in the African American vernacular, and so it frightens and stirs up the racists.... who have no idea what it means, but associates it with black culture.
