A scenario.

You can host dinner for people who are dead.

Who would you invite?

Me?

. William Shakespeare;
. David Bowie (add the sad emoji);
. Andy Warhol;
. Iggy Pop (ha ha ha - that man is never gonna die, but I want him at my table);
. Dmitri Shostakovich;
. A woman I knew at university. She had breast cancer;
. Jane Austen;
. Steve McQueen.

Ah a fantasy party. I tried to get one going a while back. The last one I threw online was anyone living or dead. One woman invited Jesus and I thought it was a bit of a bummer till he got Stephen Hawking up to sing the galaxy song with Noel Coward.
Just a tip though. If its going to be a dinner party. Under no circumstances let Lucrezia Borgia do the catering 😉

In my written fiction, Jesus and Lucifer turn out to restore their brotherhood.

JC is the street fighter. Luce can talk his way into and out of anywhere.

When they get their differences settled, they are awesome.

I like diversity and gender balance so I'll set-up a table for 8 people. I will hover, listen in and serve dinner.

Make sure there is plenty of wine....

I like the cut of your jib! And, yes, plenty of wine.

I notice no-one here has mentioned Harry Webb, alias Cliff Richard. Could that have anything to do with his persistent "God-pushing, holier than thou" attitude.
What sensible folk we have on this site!!

True dat.
