On a daily basis, boxer-briefs or trunks. Wardrobe sometimes dictates something different.

For years it was boxers but I didn't like hanging out like that. I now wear briefs and I feel much safer. No more worries about elevator doors, passing traffic, getting burned on the skillet.....

Neither. Trunks, sort of a halfway house betwixt the two. Neither budgie smuggler nor dangle den.

Please enlighten. I know what a budgie smuggler is but dangle den eludes me.
@patchoullijulie I don’t know another word for boxers, so I made it up. They’re a den for one’s crown jewels, which are left unrestrained. ?
@KevinTwining OMG I love making up words. Then I use them until I (and my workmates can stand it no more). 
I spent way too long looking through this thread.
