How many of you actually care about the royal wedding? I won’t tease you.

I know it's happening, but I don't follow it enough to know when. I'll catch reports on TV, stuff will come across Facebook, and I might pick up a celebrity magazine when it's over. I'd say I have a healthy curiosity and interest. I'm not star-struck, but I do like both of them. I like the young man that Harry has become. I enjoy the pageantry. And I suppose that my inner 7-year-old still dreams of marrying a prince.

And just how do you know what Harry has become? I assume your only information is from the media and mostly tabloid rags and you do not know him personally.

@jlynn37 Do you have an actual question or do you just want to thinly veil your contempt for me (for having a favorable opinion of a famous person based on his public image)?

@carlyhorton Wow, contempt! My dear I have no contempt for you (or anyone), I do not know you and know nothing about you. I am just one who is curious about people and how they think and reason. I wish you well and success in finding what you are searching for here and in your life. Love and Peace.

@jlynn37 I’m glad it seems to be a miscommunication. The written word can be “heard” in a tone not intended. Sentences that begin with “And just how do you know...” can easily be heard as...well...bitchy.

I don’t follow the royal family, but I do recall that Harry has had a reputation in the past for being a bit of a partier. I heard him more recently in an interview and he came across as a charming, well-spoken, likeable guy. It seems he’s grown out of a bit of a bad-boy phase. He might just have good PR, too.

Also, he and Megan remind me of my nephew and his girlfriend 🙂

I giveth not one shit.

Personally I find it annoying that humans still "worship" genetics. It is beyond ridiculous how fanatical people are over wealth, power and blood lines. Just a different group of rich people acting superior and hoarding money that the poor people seem eager to throw at them. Ugggg it is pathetic really.

Off with his head,

I'm British, more specifically English and here is a picture of my warehouse full of the f****cks I could give about this wedding

I use my warehouse like that for thoughts and prayers. Looks very similar.

6

I couldn’t care less.

6

I want a Republic. Let them live in social housing and open their palaces to the public.

5

I couldn't give a toss about it

5

Looks like a legitimate chance to counteract at least some of the inbreeding. Also, I like the hats. ?

ha!ha!

I think Diana countered the inbreeding when she chose Harry's father - the one with ginger hair, not Charles.

5

I couldn't give a flying fuck. sick of hearing about it

Agreed!

5

I actually care more about my grass growing , I will sit and watch it grow while all the news programs will have it on.

5

...what 'royal wedding?'

Varn Level 8 May 17, 2018

royal turds you mean?

4

It would take me years to think of something I could care less about. These are just the super rich of the world adding a horse to the stable.

4

I don't really care what rich, aristocratic, "royality" from another country are doing. Our country is in jeopardy. We need to do some serious work at the grass roots level here for the 2018 mid-term elections; especially for minorities including the LGBTQ+ community and Medicaid as #45 and his goons are dismantling everything that we minorities have fought so hard for during the Obama Administration.

4

No interest. Watch a wedding and wait for the divorce.....!

I was born in England to English parents. Nearly all my relatives live there. I grew up in Canada & the USA, and I want to abolish the monarchy, and I know so do some of my relatives and more Brits do, too. It's Americans who are really obsessed with this--so many Americans believe in fairy tale princesses. I swear, if a religion ever emerged around "Princess Di," it would start in the USA and would soon rival, if not surpass, evangelicals.

4

I would rather crawl into an elephants asshole than watch it.

Again? You've been banned from how many zoos now? Just stop.

@Vic2273 did I say elephant I meant your mom they just look so similar

@Bloodmoon that's weak, dude.

I was/am marginally aware there is a wedding and who is getting married. Beyond that, I don't care.

4

What wedding?

4

The Royal what? j/k...I know what it is and who's involved.....I searched thoroughly through my backpack and could not find a single fuck with which to give. 😀

4

Not at all really.

They are adorable though.

I think his mother's greatest gift was teaching her sons that they could act like humans in public.

4

Don't give shit

4

A wedding,? Of someone I don’t personally know? Why would I care?

4

As an Australian "living in exile", so to speak, I get a real kick out of the interest in All Things Royal around here. I like to remind my American friends that they fought a revolution to get away from these people who they now esteem. Look in your local bookstore; there are no less than five magazines dedicated to the royal family.

I have no doubt that the Wedding will be a ratings juggernaut, but I know I won't be watching. I will, however, chuckle at the MAGAs, America-Firsters who will be. 😉

Honestly I wouldn’t even know it was going on if I didn’t read this post lol.

What wedding? Do I know these people? Should I know or even care? ???

I’m almost thinking - excellent - a wedding I’m not expected to attend 😀
