I'm home, alone, and it feels so good. Peace. Quiet. Solitude. Time to work more on myself. I've learned so much about myself on my trip to see family. I'm stronger, and so much happier in my situation. Life is really good.

Good times... the lesson I keep learning over and over is that when I’m either happy or sad all that’s really different is me.

That's really cool.

For most of my adult life i was way reluctant to visit my mother, and my father, and my siblings. They all smoked cigarettes in the house.

I grew-up with that. I now hate it when having to walk by smokers even outside. It immediatly sticks to my clothes and hair and is with me the rest of the day.

So, visiting them, in their homes, was no joy.

Sometime being alone with you own self is where you need to be . Where was I at ,where am I now and is this where I won't to be. Do I won't to see a different side of me. Should I try to improve who I am now? Or I am good to go.

Life sometimes just requires clarity which comes from self knowledge. This is where one develops the nuances of their true inner character. The world tells us constantly that we "need others" around us all the time. The reality is that it is the complete opposite.

My turn next weekend. In years past my kids forbade me from visiting family on my own, it is a rough ride. I always come back in a bad mood.
Enjoy your serenity.
