Ordained member. The idea behind it is the "live and let live" mentality from The Big Lebowski.

It isn't a church- we're too lazy
It isn't a group- there would be meeting an such....rather bowl
It isn't a way of life- this would mean you put in the effort to change yourself, why change dude?
It isn't a fanclub- Dude, the dude was just a character....

If after reading that your still confused as to what it is? Well dude, you ain't a dude!

I'm not cool enough to be a Dude. Just haven't got what it takes. As the great San Franciscon urban philosopher, Dirty Harry Callahan, used to say: "A man's just got to know his limitations." (BTW Harry usually said just before blowing away some poor sap with that enormous firearm of his.)

My coworker did an online ordination so he could perform a wedding, and he picked Dudeism from several options. As far as I know, it's really just for fun (other than the ordination is legal).

I'm an ordained Dudist minister. That being said, I know nothing about it other than the rug really ties the room together.
