I only ever listened to one all the way through and that was “S-Town”. It still haunts me after over a year.

Highly recommend!

I agree.

Try some others. There are many in-depth storytelling pods out there.

The Scathing Atheist
God Awful Movies
The Skeptics Guide to the Universe
Skeptics with a K
Cognitive Dissonance
The Infinite Monkey Cage

Should keep you going for a while!

All of these plus, Waking up with Sam Harris.

@Kriptikos Haven't tried that one yet, been on my list for a while though. But with the ones I've listed, it's hard to add more! Also, I'm going to meet almost all the hosts of these shows next weekend! (apart from Brian Cox unfortunately...)

@DavidUK that sounds fun! I wish I was able to go, I miss Europe, it’s been so long since my last visit. I should have stayed when I had the chance back in 96, sigh.

If there are any atheist/agnostic/secular/etc firefighters, EMT/Paramedics, Police officers, I have a podcast called Due Work available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Anchor, Google Podcasts and whole bunch more. We havent done an episode in belief yet but it's something I want to do at some point, to try and connect with other emergency service personnel who also are nonbelievers, as we tend to be the minority. My cohost is a Christian, but we are really great friends and think our differences bring something special to the show.

Oh gosh, I have so many I listen to lately. Let's see - a few (or a few too many) favorites...

On a language theme: Lingthusiasm, the allusionist, Lexicon Valley
For a fiction fix: : The Truth (short stories),Alice Isn't Dead (30 some episodes), TANIS (ongoing and apparently endless)
General fascination: reply all, radio lab, no such thing as a fish, every little thing
Other: Serial (I’m starting with season three which seems a lot different from 1 & 2 from what I can tell), rationally speaking

I love Lexicon Valley. I'd like to check out some others on your list!

The daily Zeitgeist
Pod Save America
The Moth
Radio lab
Snap Judgment
A few other NPR and Howstuffworks ones if the subject peaks my interest.
I might check out some of the athiest themed ones I see here, but I'm not sure If Id want to listen to that all the time. I keep coming back to Agnostic.com for discussion though so who knows.

Right now I'm really liking a podcast called Wolverine: The Long Night. It's a Marvel podcast done as a serial and it's really good if you like the x-men stories
