Eugene Debs ran for president in 1920 from a prison cell. He got over a million votes, so being convicted of a crime, let alone only indicted does not preclude him from running for president and the MAGAts won't blink.

If that's the goal, they are idiots. Being indicted, convicted, and jailed has does not affect his qualifications to run for POTUS and be elected. Frankly I think they just handed Trump the 2024 election, but we'll see.
