gods will die once spirituality is bought into science. my money is it will be empathy, which is an outward expression of love. some have no empathy, psycho's, so we have a scientific base line. just need to devise sensors which ai could well enable.
look at all religions, they teach empathy eg thou shalt not steal..........................because you wouldn't want it done to you aka empathy.

Ai is ignorance incarnate because it doesn't understand or reason so it can never replace or kill off the concept of god(s)... What has been killing off the concept of religion is knowledge and education and it has been a long, slow, painful process mainly because religion has been using fake educational
institutions calling them "schools" in order to indoctrinate children under the guise of education...

AI will replace god only if the AI creators want it to. In other words, if AI is programmed in any way to believe in a god this is entirely likely.

Both man-made and the newest one will probably be our end.
