The thing I can't understand about partisans is when they have to check back with headquarters to determine who their current enemies are.
I know who my enemies are, they call me their enemy.
If it wasn't for them I'd have no enemies.
Imagine being a self identified "back the blue" person to contrast your anti-minority position then one day you're surprised and confused that now your enemies includes the FBI, just because the top criminal in your party didn't like it that they were doing their jobs.
There's much less of this on the left, and even if the left told me to add enemies to my list they can kiss off. Obviously if that's what I wanted from a party I'd join the fascist.
