I'm always surprised by our little suburban ecosystem. Asparagus popping up in a flox bed in our front yard. Wind? Chipmunks? Anyways, it will go into my lunch salad.

Yep. I just pulled out a patch of what turned to be fern leaf dill surrounding one of my bedding roses. I had surely not planted it myself, lol. The tap roots came up easilly, so I transplanted all twenty-some. Reportedly they do not transplant well, so I am watering frequently and will just see if some make it.
Ooh, yeah, just remembered I also have several pumpkin vines blooming from my compost pile....courtesy of last Halloween's grocery store pumkin.

Two stalks of asparagus
Iceberg lettuce
Sweet pepper
Mushrooms
French cut green beans
Black olives
Sweet gherkin pickles
Raisins
Peanuts
Shredded mozzarella
Touch of buttermilk-ranch dressing....
