More on the Yard Long Red Noodle Beans: I picked the first one at 27", as it was getting thicker than a pencil, as recommended. It does cook red, and tasted a bit earthier than green beans.
I now have 7 or 8 more coming in with our late, hot summer - such a pretty one in the garden!

I remember growing similar beans. They were called Dau Gok beans.

Wow! I have never seen those red beans!

Me, neither, it was an impulse buy of seedlings at the garden center 🤷♀️.

I'm putting this on my list for next year.

Dave's Garden Seeds Store has non-GMO!

I think it takes someone with a romantic attitude to succeed in a garden. Kudos on the color and variety!

The garden is my 'living canvas'.

That looks like the bean that was growing up a redbud tree at the local park. Confused the heck out of me.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
