In my winter garden here in Florida, my green beans are full of blossoms and little beans. Will have more than enough to make Hoisin glazed green beans for Christmas dinner.
Fine, just lovely! Today I had the pleasure if driving several hours through thick, dense "snow fog" which is what happens when torrential rain hits piles of snow. But you wouldn't know about that woodya?! sigh
Yeah, I know what winter weather is. I lived in Berlin, Germany for almost 3 years, in northern Illinois for 5 years, and in Kansas for 17 years. II have driven in an ice storm, a blizzard, and in snow fog. And I have seen gtemperatures of -35 F, nd in winter storm winds of 70 mph. Not in the past 20 + years though.
Posted by FernappleThe little woodland garden, is a symphony of blue, purple and white now. Hyacinth, Honesty, and Ornithogalum.
Posted by KateOahuThis morning I went to a class for making a terrarium with native plants at the Waikiki Community Center, which is about three blocks from where I live.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
