Last effort in cutting some useable pieces from that walnut chunk and the freshly cut Mulberry log. Coated in linseed oil and drying.

Pruning some downed cherry limbs and removing one ornamental crab apple tree after a pretty good squall line went through. I saved a few chunks, ran them through my table saw... and slathered boiled linseed oil on them to cure. Hopefully there will...

Dug my first potatoes yesterday. Last night I cut up a bunch of the smaller ones into thin slices, chopped up part of an onion, and pan fried that in olive oil, with salt and pepper. It was delicious.

Little fuzzy butts working hard. Nice crop of lavender, the oil is best after they've moved on and the blossoms are drier. I still have three pints of oil from last year but it seems a shame to waste it. Still have some blackberries in my freezer ...
