Of course, we should never forget it applies equally to men and women.
ALL OF US who have lost loved ones need that lovely piece above... REMEMBER Hindu's have been throwing widows alive upon funeral pyres for millenia...the one thing ZERO LIVING BEINGS NEED is religious lies....it's ok by me if I remind anyone of their lost loved one... part of grief and mourning is keeping the best and forgetting the rest...a favorite tie, saving a shirt for a night gown or to wear while re-painting a room....jewelry, treasured gifts, movies, books, poems... go ahead and ask how I feel about such things, I'm for healing grief in a place of cherished memory not to forget joys that can resonate today and our future
Totally true and I feel exactly the same way (and so would she had I been the one to die). I just hope the second item doesn't apply to you.
