He always brushed off my car. Always. It was so sweet. He usually made a big deal about it. That his woman doesn't have to do that kinda thing! Lol. So of course all this snow has me crying. I was able to hold my tears back as I brushed off my car because I didn't want my face to freeze. But now I am home and warm, they fall.

It is said that you die twice. Physically and when you are forgotten. Hang on those memories as painful as they may be and tell the stories. Keep your person alive and with you.

Lol. I do that too for my wife and put gas in the car too, but she doesn't like it that much because she feels it causes her to lose those skills. On the other hand, I don't notice her gassing up the car on her own though if I don't do it!

Same thing with driving when we go places, she can't find her way anyplace when she drives even if we've been there 346 times before, because she doesn't pay attention if she's not driving ... on the other hand she likes me to drive and demurs 90% of the time when I ask her if she wants to drive, so ...

I put it down to different styles and ways of being in the world. I'm always triangulating to figure out where I am and how I got there and trying to remember it, whether I'm driving or not ... I just don't think that's on her radar unless it has to be.

You never know what little thing will trigger this. Sometimes something that would seem so small.
