I can't wear rings at my new job. I thought about it and decided that I would put them on a necklace. I don't want to keep taking them off and on. I just took them off. I cried. I'm still crying. It will be ok. I had reasons that I wanted to keep wearing them but I had been thinking about taking them off. So my hand was forced a bit. I'll adjust.
I have to take my rings off every night as my fingers swell up during the night and then I can’t get them off! I suffer from fluid retention. I have got used to doing this and keep them on a ringtree on the bedside table. Sometimes I can’t get them on for a day or two, even after taking my tablets. I like to wear mine too, but I realise that they are only symbols, and that whether they are on my finger or not, my love, and memories of Peter are unchanged in my heart.
details, please. why can't you wear your ring?
@Doraz thanks. that's logical for safety or health reasons.
I’m sorry I truly am.
Some things just hit you hard and sometimes it comes out of left field.
@Doraz It will be a year next month that I lost my darling Richard. I am still wearing my wedding band. I don't want to take it off because then it will be so hard to see my finger without the ring he put on my finger. Sending hugs your way.
