America’s Biggest Charities Are Funneling Millions to Hate Groups From Anonymous Donors
Four donor-advised funds, which create accounts for individuals to anonymously give money to nonprofits, are financing more than 30 anti-Muslim, anti-LGBT, and other hate groups.
Per email from the site-----Following our report, a coalition of over 20 philanthropists, foundations, and donor-advised fund providers launched the “Hate Is Not Charitable” campaign, an effort to pressure giant charities to develop policies barring donations to nonprofits considered to be hate groups by the Southern Poverty Law Center and other extremism experts.
