@AstralSmoke I was really worried when I started riding but no pain so far. I think it has to do with the heel toe movement/stretch.

@AstralSmoke have you ever had a Charlie horse in your leg/calf? Imagine the worst one ever - that is what it feels like when I run or hike (or use my elliptical machine)... sucks...
Now that's a ride 🤣

Heidi68 replies on Mar 29, 2020:
@AstralSmoke it is very painful when I run or do serious uphill hiking. Usually it happens after serious trauma but when I had the surgery on my left leg the doctor said he was seeing it in a lot of military from running. It is were the fascia (covering of muscles) does not allow for expansion. So basically, when I exercise the muscles in my calves can't expand and cramp. Stretching does nothing for it....
Weekend project - I built Bear an outdoor aviary, he loved the little one we had in Oklahoma.

Thank you. The wire is on each panel, tacked every couple of inches. The only place that doesn't have wire is the bottom (because it ended up heavier than expected 😁 but it is in the front yard so I really don't think it should be a problem). I will post more pictures as he gets more comfortable.

Heidi68 replies on Mar 28, 2020:
@AstralSmoke I was thinking about doing that. I have an elliptical but it hurts my calves. I have compartment syndrome in them - I had surgery on one but it still isn't fixed. That is why I started cycling, it is the only thing that doesn't aggravate my calves.

I remember visiting and camping in Key West in the mid 70's and the local government ran trucks spewing some fog out of a trailer to kill mosquitoes through the place I was camping with friends.
Heidi68 replies on Mar 28, 2020:
They use to do that in the neighborhoods when I was a kid. We use to follow right behind the trucks, I can't believe we survived all that poison
