What's your dream car? Mine is 1969 Super Sport Camaro
I would have a few
but a bentley convertible for day use - and if I could afford one - no way I would stay in England, definitely off somewhere to follow the sun
Mini...(I have no imagination regarding cars)...
I have always wanted a 1960 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster...still dreamin’! As far as I can recall they only came in Gunmetal. Oops no they didn’t, just found this on YouTube....
I really want a 79 Cordoba. I had one as a senior in high school. Hunter green, mint condition.
In the small town I live in, there is a 4 day car show/festival. Parades, car competitions, live bands. It's such a huge event, they will cancel school. Too much traffic, too many absences.
It's always near my birthday. An exciting way to celebrate every year.
@Redcupcoffee For me it's "The Hunger"....

I never cared much for American muscle cars, I think for a couple of reasons. While I came from a lower middle class economic background (and poverty was never far away) my parents were not culturally that way, if you know what I mean. They were thoughtful, refined in their humble way, self-educated. The muscle car crowd always seemed vulgar, loud and unrefined, valuing raw horsepower and noise over refinement. Perhaps because I grew up in import-friendly California, I liked Jaguars, Porche's and BMW's, as well as Mercedes sedans. I thought Corvette's of that 1970's era were gross.
The car I young-man lusted for was a Jaguar XKE. I still think it is the most beautiful car design ever. In their day, and even still today, fast.
@Redcupcoffee It's a Jaguar E-type
