Both Richard Dawkins' The Selfish Gene and Michael Shermer's The Moral Arc are excellent reads. Neither devotes an enormous amount of time toward the subject, directly, but their main points constantly provide a preponderance of evidence against the case of .

CS Lewis's Mere Christianity provided plenty of ammunition against Christianity, even though it sought to do the opposite. In a similar vein, the source material is pretty rich in contradiction and immorality, so you can't go wrong there, either.

Everytime i talk to a christian does it for me not read many books that have got any new ideas recently .

I have to say the question itself makes me feel a little uneasy, like it presumes the purpose of reading about Atheism is to further entrench ourselves in our own echo chamber. Don't get me wrong, I think books and other materials about Atheism are fine but when someone thinks of them as an aid to becoming a purer, truer non-believer I have to think some how, some way, they're doing it wrong.

I listen to a podcast called The Infinite Monkey Cage with Brian Cox and Robin Ince. It's hilarious, profound, and wonderfully educational.

I really can’t give you any. Either you believe or you don’t. Written material is used by both sides as ‘proof’. Don’t make it so, either way. We can’t prove there’s NOT a god, just as they can’t prove there is. Just my opinion, of course.
