If you could, at the wave of your hand, abolish any one religion, which would it be?
To clarify - all that would happen is that all the believers of that religion would simply find themselves as suddenly indifferent to it as they presumably are already to all the other religions. I'm not talking about imprisoning anyone or having buildings and books disappear.
Keep it light - it's just a fun exercise to see what our bugbears mainly are.

Going to be a little pedantic here, Christianity isn't a religion it's a group of religions. But in the spirit of the question I would abolish Catholicism, I suspect it the route of a lot of evils 🙂

The same is true of the scismaticism within Islam, so much so that the different sects have been enacting bloody infighting for hundreds of years, in addition of course to political jihad against non muslims

Maybe, but I think a lot of religion's traction is social inertia. For example, if there were no Amish people right now I don't think anyone would be saying "let's go back to living like it was two hundred years ago" and finding followers.

All of the above and all the others not listed, they are all mental illnesses that have become institutionalized and the sooner we start treating these people the sooner they will be cured.

Islam. They are the biggest religion in terms of total number of followers.. That would do the most good worldwide...

If you count all the sub-sets, I think Christianity has more followers.
