Here's a question I often pose to the anti-abortion crowd. This applies specifically to men, who, for some reason tend to be the most vocal in this debate.
Let's suppose that you're a man and meet an extremely attractive young woman in her early 20's and you guys sit down and have and drink together and we're assuming you're both single.
During the conversation she makes you an offer. She likes you and says you guys can have sex that night and every night in anyway you want and you can even bring in her hot, bisexual, supermodel, yoga instructor roommate to join you once in a while. In addition, you're free to pursue other woman as well and can even bring them in the bedroom with her and her roommate if you like.
You guys can do it as much and as often as you want and the ONLY STIPULATION is that if she gets pregnant you agree that she can get an abortion and you will be there to help and support her through the process without complaint. Then after the procedure is over you guys can resume your sexual relationship as before.
Now, here we have a situation, where you have it fully within your power to absolutely 100% prevent an abortion from happening. All you have to do is reject her offer... So here's my question; are you paying for that abortion with cash or check?

I'm more likely to make sure she is on the pill so she doesn't get pregnant to start with. Abortion is NOT birth control and it was never intended to be used as birth control. Contrary to popular Republican opinion women are not using abortion as birth control. Price some pills against the cost of abortion and you will see. If you think it is all free at a clinic keep in mind that those people are not stupid. Most people do pay something and it's based on your income and personal situation.

Sure but the rule still applies. If she gets pregnant she gets an abortion. That's the rule of the scenario. I'm still convinced most of these anti-abortion religious fanatics would take the offer given the chance.

I have had two abortions in my life, Of course I went with her and paid for it. And then helped in any way I could. In both cases we were within six weeks and in my mind, that is not killing a baby, there is no baby. This stuff about when a baby is developed kills me, AT BIRTH.
Men who run or just send some cash are not worthy of being a man. To just walk away from the other half of your sexual evening is disgusting.
