WHO would create a world, create evil in it, give the people a book where HE (or she or they) is doing 99% of the evil, and demand to be worshipped or he will torture you forever in firey flames!?!?!! What kind of being would do that ????

To this day I remain amazed that so many people could believe this nonsense and swallow it all hook, line, and sinker. I do recall that I used to be one of them. I was about as stubborn and ignorant as they are yet today.

I believed it IGNORANTLY... It only took me seeing the first two contradictions in the bible to KNOW that a perfect god did not write that book (later to discover the evils that god does)...Now I am surrounded by people that KNOW some of these horrible things that are in there and BELIEVE IT ANYWAY...One actually said "I don't care WHAT'S in it!". They still cling as if it is a good god.

@Realist9 I agree and lots of this is why I can never go back. Like the Wizard of Oz I've always said that once you have seen behind the curtain you can never believe in the Wizard again.

@DenoPenno I will never go back! (except to my son's wedding in Feb). I could NEVER unsee what I've seen! They are worshipping the one with all the satanic behaviour...

As I’ve explained several times before religion is a tool and it’s up to who wields it to determine whether or not it’s purpose will be to create or destroy.
And sadly most people in history have preferred power and control over prosperity and peace.

I’m just saying that if look at all religions that you can the duality of man within them but for us to focus purely on what has been done instead of looking ahead for what should be done will be the difference as to whether we repeat ourselves or redefine ourselves.
