I had a wonderfully romantic Valentines Day date with my bf! We had a one hour ride through Central Park on a horse drawn carriage... He bought me a dozen roses and then we went to an authentic Italian restaurant in little Italy on Mulberry street in Manhattan... We ordered huge appetizer platter with included fresh in house mozzarella cheese, fresh heirloom tomatoes , fried eggplant, garlic bread and a filet Mignon steak... Yummy...
He really did very well... I wasn't so sure what he had planned for this special day for us as it is our first valentines day together ... He got his gift when we got home... it was actually a gift for both of us
I love NY. Sounds very romantic! Wishing you the best!
Sounds like a very Romantic night for you both, I'm happy for you both. My Day only included work that day. And just buying my mom some flowers later that afternoon. I'm single and am not attached to anyone
I forgot to mention the Sweet kisses in the horse carriage ??
Happy for you. I lived in NYC all my life and never did the horse and carriage thing but been to Mulberry Steet and various restaurants...the BEST. Except Carmines in midtown...that is my absolute fave but it's for large groups not dates.it's family style portions are huge.
Carmines? What are the cross streets? I'll check it out one day this week...
But, you didn't go "dutch"?
He must like YOU, most.
I was waiting for the punchline. It all sounded too perfect.
Aww! I worked until 8 p.m ate junk food and watched Netflix with my dog. ?
Sounds like my day
@CallMeDave it wasn't all that bad
@Kojaksmom Does not sound bad at all. Except the junk food. Except maybe pringles.
Great date, although the horse ride invariably reminds me of this Seinfeld episode
RUSTY!
Sweet. Take note, boys.
I take note that the young lady is beautiful, seems very nice, is carrying (I think), and independently wealthy. Just saying.
I've heard restaurant people say V day is the absolute worst night to go to a restaurant. It sounds like you beat the odds for sure.
How awesome!!! Happy for you both, sounds like you had a great time!
Very nice Kate. We are celebrating tonight.
