Amazon Is Selling a DIY Backyard Guest House that You Can Build in 8 Hours!

The kit, which comes with everything you need to create a 172-square-foot home in your backyard, instantly went viral when it first appeared online, and sold out.

All building materials are included in the kit, which costs $7,250, electricity and bathroom not included.

If you prefer a different design, there's a 174-sq ft garden house kit with a more enclosed style and peaked roof for $8,360.

It's made of Nordic spruce and covered in tongue-and-groove planks.
Everything you need comes in the crate and two DIY-savvy adults should be able to assemble it in a day.

Sears Roebuck was doing this a century ago, and not just guest houses. I've been in a Sears house. If I remember correctly it was a two bedroom.

I believe Richard Nixon's family lived in a Sears home when he was growing up.

Looks good, must feel like a retreat tree-house for adults!

Might make a nice studio space. Kind of small. Wonder if there are larger ones. Too bad I hate Amazon
