I love the South Park show, humor is so irreverent, exactly my view of religion and religious (fake) people. Any other South Park fans out there?

In times of trouble and spiritual turmoil, I turn to South Park for guidance.

Yeah...when I was younger. But I stopped watching when their shows started going against climate change and giving incorrect information or bad thinking on other issues. I remember realizing I was not learning an issues just mocking the debate on it...and that turned me off of them. I realized they were teaching a young audience, especially a male audience, very bad ideas and behaviors.

So I stopped watching.

I do not know if you realize it's actually based on a small mountain town in Colorado, located in South Park Colorado. The town is called Fairplay, and their high school is known as South Park High School. My school played basketball against them when I taught in Colorado. I love South Park. So irreverant.

Yes, I''ve lived in Colorado more than half my life, and have even been to Fairplay once. Not much to the town, but the show is funny and makes fun of hypocrisy.

Still a fan! Family Guy too!

I enjoyed South Park and Family Guy, for a while.
I lost interest in both.
Same with the Simpsons.

They were all really good, for a while.
Now, I can't watch any of them.

i pretty well gave up the S & FG. but will watch the occasional SP b/c they're so unpredictable with their irreverence. they just keep pushing the envelope.

I used to be a big fan, but started losing interest about 15 years ago when it felt like they were running out of good material. Luckily, I got switched on to Family Guy about the same time I started losing interest in South Park. Family Guy has the irreverence I like, and their references, at least to me, are somewhat clever and aimed at my generation. Although Family Guy has started to slip the last couple of seasons, especially the most recent one. Oh well ....

The Mormons was the correct answer to get into heaven.

There were ahead of their time, like All in the Family.

I’ve been a huge fan since 1997. You should go see The Book of Mormon if it ever comes around.

They made a great 4 part parody of how the Mormon church formed....I'll show you part I you search for part 2-4...

I love Trey & Matt. I love that they are always looking for that line to cross.Every controversial topic. I havent really watched since I quit cable so I have missed the past few years, but, I really should plan a binge & get caught up.

Being an ex-Moron (oops, ex-Mormon), I really like the one they did about Mormons. They have a song about Joseph Smith, the golden plates, peepstones, etc., with words including "dumb-dumb-dumb-dumb-dumb." LOL 😀

Howdy neighbor, their reading on the current situation is awesome.
I think one masterpiece is the double down episode, not because it is funny, but because it shows the relationship between people and the new populist wave, was an amazing reading of the situation that the media and people against populism still don't understand.
The last seasons are being amazing, the speed of production and the ideas they have to always go for the next level of the joke always surprise me.
When Trump told about grab by the pussy, that was the obvious joke, but they called people that just reacted to that and not all the other bullshit that came before, that is an example of going for the next level and not the obvious.

Hell to the mf'n yeah! Even loved it when I was a believer. The movie is one of the funniest things I've ever seen! I have the disk (old school) The songs are brilliant, m'kay! Just have to throw in a "Respect maa authori-tai!"

I used to watch it but ever since 2016 election it became too painful to watch ever since real life became a South Park episode.

But now I’m getting back into it.

What are your fav episodes?

I love the episdes with the two Asian restaurant owners fighting over customers, and also the epiisode where the boys admire Kaitlyn Jenner.

I've only watched one episode, years ago (the one based on a trip to Kauai, since it was relevant to me) and bits and pieces of other episodes, but I can tell that if I was a big TV watcher, I'd really like the show.
