“Miracle Mineral Solution,”
According to Jim Humble and his Genesis II Church of Health and Healing, it is a god given universal panacea, that will cure everything from warts to AIDS.
In actuality it is industrial strength bleach
This story is beyond belief, but has been going on for NINE years
I don't normally give trigger warnings but be warned, this is a real life horror story, here is the science

Perhaps if the Medical industry would research alternative cures for disease which had merit and would stop the practice of treating symptoms, people would stop looking outside of the AMA which clearly doesn't give a damn about your health but rather maintaining profits of the corporate medical industry. Perhaps there are a bunch of whack jobs out there but there are some treatments which obviously were hushed even with scientific backing such as the Hoxley treatments, Essiac Tea Treatments, Rife frequency treatments, properly manufactured GcMAF, DCA (Sodium dichloroacetate) and Sodium Bicarbonate cancer treatments (Dr. Tullio Simoncini). Some of the above (Hoxley) even went to court to defend his statement that his treatments did in fact cure cancer...he won. The creator of Essiac tea was curing cancer patients and was approached by the AMA who wanted to buy (not investigate & prove) the treatment from Rene Caisse. My point is...some non-profit organization needs to be formed to test these treatments of merit and document the types of cancers or illnesses which they are effective against. Big Pharma won't be doing so unless they can patent the tonic and profit from the production of such.

He's not lieing you can't be ill if you are dead!¡!!

Should her kid not be taken away from her?? She is literally poisoning her kid, sounds like negligence at best and attempted manslaughter/murder at worst.

WTF, BLEACH IS TOXIC and can be poisonous even in small doses, that MUST be tantamount to Attempted Murder at least.
There IS NO cure for Autism, there ARE treatments for it that MAY alleviate it but they MAY not always work.
Technically speaking, everyone of us has some small degree of Autistic behaviour in us somewhere and often it is merely put down as something like O.C.D.,etc.
People with Autism are People none-the -less, it is just that, perhaps, their brains are wired slightly different to how ours are wired AND drinking frigging BLEACH will NOT fix that.

For those who think this is ludicrous, this article may be of interest to you:
[nbcnews.com]

I sat in disbelief at the arrant stupidity of it when I first came across this a couple of years ago.

' “She was just frustrated with the autism,” Serrano said.'

It's even more frustrating reading things like this and dealing with ignorance when you are autistic, as I am, my sisters, some of my cousins, and No.1 Son.

Hate groups like Autism Speaks, and high-profile celebrities who endorse them don't help with the attitude that doesn't drive people to these quack cures, but certainly contributes to the mentality that we even need curing.

@Thomas-Covenant I agree with you 100%.

My youngest son is on the spectrum (Aspergers). My oldest son has ADHD. I've never been diagnosed, but I'm pretty certain I'm on the spectrum. Dealing with raising both sons along with a daughter is challenging at times, but I wouldn't give it up for the world.

My grandson is Autistic, but he lives six hours away. He's challenging to me at times with I visit, but I handle it.

Even with the melt-downs we have at times I would NEVER subject myself or my children to that poison.

Girls present differently with autism (it's all autism, except ADHD, which a geneticist friend assures me is neurodivergent but not autism). I've discussed this with both my sisters regarding where we inherited it from. I spent years trying to figure out what about our late father was similar to me before I realised it's Mum. The main reason we don't argue the toss with her when she insists it must be from Dad's side is... sigh, three types of dementia at almost 85 years old, so where's the value in it?

My son got his diagnosis at 7. I fought for 12 years before I finally got mine at 47. I don't grieve for the child I didn't get, I celebrate the fine young man I did. He drives, he's a BA (Hons) as of July, he's in full charge of his life in a way I doubt I will ever be, and when it was said he's nothing like me, my response was all of the above, that he had help right through school that I didn't, that he was exactly like me as a child, but he isn't now, and I couldn't be more delighted.

The meltdowns aren't the problem. It's what others do around us when we're having one. Articulating that as a child on the spectrum is something I didn't even know I had to try to do. The best we can do, you and I and others like us, is do better for our wee ones than we received ourselves, with our own experiences and with the better information that is available today.

Anyone with even a basic understanding of chemical reactions knows that the blood and tissue coming out of a child's anus is because of damage done by the abrasive chemical that's been put there. These poor desperate individuals are being scammed by those who know this, yet peddle their wares citing such issue as "evidence" of the "demons" being flushed out of the child. It's torture, and torture is illegal. ABA "therapy" is torture too. The whole thing makes me nauseous just thinking about it.

Apologies for the extended rant. Believe it or not, I condensed this, too.

I had once thought that the practice of drinking bleach was something that was isolated to a cult, after looking into it it is I had discovered it is widely practiced. The ignorance of the people that consume bleach is just baffling. Regular bleach is bad enough what about the Clorox? Clorox has sodium hydroxide in it.

"Sodium hydroxide" IS bleach.

@AnneWimsey sodium hydroxide is LYE chlorine is bleach.

@azzow2 lye is potassium hydroxide. No lye in clorox/bleach, they are sodium hydroxide.

@AnneWimsey @azzow2
Both Lye and Bleach are common generic terms for various chemicals that have the common effect of whitening and or being toxic to microbiological organisms.
The archaic term fuller can also be used.
They can be commonly Chlorine based, sodium based or Peroxide based, there are one or two other but most industrially manufactured one fall in to these three categories.

@LenHazell53 From my experience of handling these chemicals in an industrial level they are different chemicals where one being a base sodium hydroxide which was once used as soap and can cause chemicals burns in high concentrate. The other being chloride when bubbled in water will create hydro caloric acid. Chlorine will turn you're clothing white, Sodium hydroxide will turn your clothing yellow.

All those pushing this shit should be locked up. Some "healers" sell this shit and get hand smacks. The kids suffer.

2

There are people who try to cure illnesses by drinking turpentine and using black salve to try and cure cancer. Facebook has groups of these people giving advice and showing pictures of these “treatments” on themselves, their kids and their animals. It’s horrifying.

2

Oh dear...the poor children. They are so helpless against this mass ignorance.

2

I posed an article abou this about a couple of weeks ago. The stupidity of people never ceases to surprise or amaze me.

It doesn't take any special talent or knowledge to become a parent. People prove that constantly and examples like this only show the need for regulating parenthood.

I agree

You are in agreement with the same idea I had. It is somewhat out there, I think of myself, my own idea, not criticizing your idea, but YES. There needs to be more oversight in this regard. What do you think? Can you expound?

@Flowerwall What needs to be and what is reality are two different things. People should have to take and pass a course in parenthood. Tax structures should be such that more than two children should have to pay a tax (this was once the case in Iran). The most important thing would be for us to finally wake up that the Earth cannot support billions and billions of people and the media should stop fostering children. The biggest problem is the drive for procreation. Too many want children and grandchildren and feel life is unlivable without their own kids (we have one such pair here). The programs that have school kids carry around and care for artificial babies is a great one.

If it was really bleach, the kids would be dead, or nearly so, and everyone involved (sellers/providers/parents) would be under arrest.
While I do not, sadly, doubt that this level of stupidity is out there, this post is Highly suspect to me!
Plus, a few drops of bleach in a gallon of water is a recognized benefit if the water is contanminated, like camping, or during disasters.......

My youngest son has Aspergers, and my grandson is Autistic. There has been quite a few "friends" that have sent me articles on using bleach to cure them. I have also read quite a few articles on parents who have severely injured their children because they forced them to drink it. These people need to be charged with cruelty to children and have their children taken away. Unfortunately, (depending on where they live) they are immune because of religious tolerance laws.

2

Sarcasm alert... Hmm, I work in the field of autism, we have industrial bleach at work. I'll give everyone a dose and be out of work by the weekend!
Sarcasm over... Yes, the perpetrators of this 'scam' need to be locked up. What next? Phosgene gas as a lung restorative!

1

What an awkward behavior!

I heard a similar story not to long ago. Can't remember exactly where.I think it may have been local.

LOL, so besides being a self-declared Mass Murderer, a Genocidal Maniac, a Misogynist, etc, etc, this 'God' has now taken on Arson as an extra talent and even leaves his calling card to say to the Authorities " I did this, catch me if you can?"
Shit, IF that's the intellect of the Creator the Faithfools believe in is it ANY wonder WHY we are Atheists?

5

I remember reading a story where a young teenage girl put bleach in her mother's beverage because she wouldn't give her a cell phone. The girl was charged with attempted murder and went to jail. How is this
any different? No there is not direct intent to harm, atleast not on the surface. However in this circumstance, ONE time that the mother gives bleach to a child needs to get charged with a criminal offense and anyone who has direct knowledge especially the father needs to make sure this is followed through. Also demand follow up with other members of this church to make sure they are not poisoning other children/adults.

2

Snake oil salesman have been making the rounds for centuries yet we still have yet to develop a memetic imunity to it. The guilibility of some people and the lack of trust for science and rationality is mind boggling.

2

I cannot deal with this insanity. Can we nail all these preachers and followers up on the cross where they really want to be and save the children for a real life?

3

What the actual fuck?

4

6 to 8 drops of bleach will purify bad water but I'm not so sure of anything beyond this.

4

Horrendous! Words fail me that the authorities can’t just prosecute these people and protect the children from harm. I’m afraid there is no legislation for stupidity, however these parents are abusing their children and for that there are laws in place. The people who are promoting and making money from this quackery need to be prosecuted for fraud and put out of business.
