When the time comes and I can no longer wipe my own ass, I don't want to be here anymore.

I'm not afraid of death, it's inevitable.
That said, I'm in no hurry to leave either.

I think the subject is pointless really, but given my life and shit I've done I'm fortunate to have lived long enough to meet my first, and so far only, grandchild, but dying isn't something I look to with fear or regret.

I wish to die when my quality of life is no longer meaningful and when I believe that I have become a burden to others. At age 82, I cannot specify an age.

An extra thousand years would be awesome. Forever would be scary but I'd love to be long lived enough for insterstellar round trips to be a thing.

I don't see "never conceived" as an option. Pity.

Depends on a few things besides mental/physical health. Just me or my wife also? I don't want any extra years without her.

Do I have resources, at least enough so I don't have to work and get to choose what I do with those years, or do I have to work? I gotta work, no thanks - waaaaaay to many things to do in this world besides work.

A few, maybe couple hundred years would be fun, interesting, and allow me (us) to learn and experience a whole host of things which is kinda what life (for me) is about.

What I don't want is to live to long, to the point that I'm waiting for death to find me.

Ask me when I don't have to work and have enjoyed myself to death.

There is so much cool stuff that's (hopefully) going to happen eventually... Colonization of Mars, maybe a few planets moons or asteroids.. Not to mention technology here on earth that can make life better and such... I'd want to live 1000 years if at all possible and I could be in good health, but even towards the end of thst, I'm sure I'd be wanted to see much more in the future.

I'm 66 now. My dad is going to be 95 next month. I don't want to be 95. I'm hoping for another 20 years or so, but who knows? If I can stay healthy, 86 seems like long enough. Ask me again when I'm 85.

Reality on reality's terms. I'm here for however long I am here. I try to enjoy it for as long as I can do so.

We all die, who knows when? It can be today, or tomorrow, or in 10byears. Why bother with unreal scenarios?

The problem with the idea of living forever, is that if not everyone lived forever history would dtill find us repeating the same mistakes over and over again... and that would get old disappointing and depressing after a while. T^o live forever would be to face disappointments for eternity... that just does seem all that appealing to my cynical mind.

I'd like forever with an option to stop at any time. Maybe give me a pause option too while you're at it. Like, let me be dead for a few months, years, decades and come back later.

Depends, after health is only one area. I would not want to stay around under s system which we seem headed, dictatorship.

My mother, at age 85, (she lived to be 98 ), once said to me, "In my head, I feel and think as if I am in my twenties. Then I pass a mirror and look and say to myself, 'Who is that old person?' "

I am now twenty years out from that age, and can say unequivocally that I took far better care of myself than she did (knowledge was limited on long-term health issues pre 1950s), and I know I will age less than she did at comparable times of life.

Yet I know exactly what she meant now... My mind is sharp, my tongue witty, and yet I am just as surprised as she was when I pass a mirror.

I want to live a long and healthy life, and not get to the end of it before I am ready.

Tolerating this shit hole has been a struggle so far, I've long said 70 years will be more than enough for me, but if I go tomorrow I will have achieved everything I ever wanted to do and am pretty sure my family is provided for adequately.

I'll take what I get and I'll be happy with it, for otherwise I'd need a good type 40 with an intact dimensional stabilizer being I don't have the patience to wait for the answers.

Aside from maintaining my health, and using common sense, I have little control over my lifeline - so it's not something I concern myself with. Eh.

Depends on physical and mental health

With the condition of good physical and mental health, I would want to stay alive until I reached a catatonic state of disinterest. I anticipate that it would take a very long time before I reached that state.

Mom’s 94 and I see her daily struggles. She was pretty good up until her late 80’s. So, I’m hoping /planning for 90.

I would like to reach 100 if I could remain in good health. I worked for a woman on her 100th birthday and she was out in the garden.

Not sure I could put a time limit on it. It depends on good health and am I still interested in what's going on around me. Not that I'm super active or anything like that.

I'm a health nut, my goal was to reach 120 years old, but now I would settle for age 100 realistically. .
Heaven would be a funny farm and hell likely a hot nightclub. It would be more probable to be reincarnated as bigfoot or an alien than to be sent to Yaweh heaven. If I had my choice to be reincarnated it would be either a lesbian or a redwood tree. Oh Wow!!! I get a Woody thinking about it.
