Comedy is seeing all of the religious ads on TV and on social media along with the many references praising a deity.

I do not see any of that crap as funny. I have a negative gut reaction to any of the much too many signs that say "Jesus Saves," or what ever the hell they come up with. Some of those signs are large.

I laugh at them using the current situation as a conversion technique. Are they no different from the people who are overcharging for basic needs like toilet paper and disinfecting supplies?

@IAJO163 No different!

TV is something I stopped looking at years ago and social media is virtually religion free because if you share that crap with me then you wind up filed circularly in my deleted friends file.

I see enough of this on my Facebook feed to almost bring me to a point of throwing up.

Glad I don't do FB.

It is beyond stupid to hoax others into a false sense of safety!!!

The more of those who come to their awaited Rapture the better off the rest of us will be!!!

Not my style of comedy. They are less annoying if you mute the sound.

I want those faith healers to go to a hospital and lay their hands on every seriously sick covid19 patient in ICU and heal all of them. After that in 21 days maybe I will listen to them. Not.

Well it hasn't worked with my Evangeloon neighbour so far with his 'Morona Virus,' 4 Hands on sessions down ( at a cost of $100 per session, MATES RATES, I might add) and still no improvement according to him.
I suppose I should feel extreme regrets for telling him he had Morona virus and NOT Corona virus a few weeks ago, but hey, a little pay-back for the shit he has put this neighbourhood through in the last 7 years is fair I reckon.

Not much religion in a country with an established church. Yes the bishops have their seats in the lords and there are some TV broadcasts but they are limited. There is a religious discussion show on Sunday mornings, "Songs of praise" Sunday evening on the BBC but that`s it. Plus "Thought for the Day" on BBC Radio 2 but that can be Jewish, Muslim, Hindu or Buddist as well as predominately Christian.
For those wanting that ol time evangelical crap. They have to tune into a specialized channel.

Funny only in that when they do it it is virtuous and admirable, yet when we do it it is tasteless, disrespectful and blasphemous.

I find it to be more annoying than funny.

I am not amused by their bullshit.
