Found this pretty engaging podcast interview with him: [wnycstudios.org]

I always respected his determination to prove that those scam artists like Uri Geller were dishonest bastards.

Wouldn't be here if it weren't for him.

Great man, launched the journey for countless skeptics.....

Sad day for the world. What an amazing human being. A true skeptic.

Boo hiss... 2020, you're the worst.

Sad to see him go.
But the JREF (James Randi Educational Foundation) will live on debunking Pseudo Science in every form.
The Million dollar challenge is still up for grabs.

I'll also be cueing up this documentary about him... Haven't seen it before but a good time to reflect on his life of skepticism [imdb.com]

I've seen it. Pretty good. Tells his story rather well. Especially how he came to debunking.

He was the guy that started my journey towards being a atheist.
Now watch as some fucking psychic makes a claim to of spoken to his spirit or whatever these leeches do

He was my hero. I knew he was elderly and thought about him from time to time but I wasn't prepared for this.
Years ago, when I was a highschool dropout, teenaged welfare mom, long before the internet, I was very alone in my skepticism. I kept in mind his Nova appearance and some words of advice he gave then:
"And, to me, science describes a world far more interesting than any psychic fantasy. It's a good world -- not perfect -- but it's ours. So we'd better learn to live with it, the way it is."

One less voice for sanity in the world - when we desperately need every such voice.

He will be missed.

Oh, an investigator of, ‘woo woo’. Cool, quite a legacy, sounds like he was a great guy 🙂

Not the person I was wanting to read the obituary of.
We need more like him.
