So.... you've been eating hotdogs and McNuggets all your life, but don't want the vaccine because you "don't know what's in it?" 🀦

I don't eat that crap and I still want to know what's in those things.

1

Vaccines Teach Your Immune System How to Kill Covid 19. When you feel the side effects from it that means your body is building defenses.

Then the purpose of "Hotdogs & McNuggets" is to teach your body how to produce fat, store it and trigger diseases?

2

I don't know how the situation is in the USA but in the UK routine operations have been delayed because hospitals have been inundated with seriously ill people suffering from the effects of covid19. The quality of life has been affected for thousands of people and some will die prematurely.
Because of this people who refuse the vaccine are not only stupid but very very selfish.

Hot dogs and nuggets go in my mouth and out my ass! Shots / needles go in my arm and can kill me the first time! I snorted coke in the 80's but never booted it! Catch my drift? Food good (even bad food is good), needles can kill in a few moments.

You do not understand it is not the needle that is the problem but what is in the solution? According to this "reasoning", Insulin-dependent diabetes should just stop injecting insulin? WTF is wrong with your reasoning powers? Oh,wait......

There is a huge difference between injecting an illegal street drug and injecting a vaccine manufactured under strict lab protocols and approved by both the CDC and FDA.

Before you blithely dismiss the advice the health professionals, I recommend that you learn some science. First, educate yourself on the basics of the immune system. Then familiarize yourself with the field of molecular biology (that's everything to do with DNA, RNA, and the production of proteins). You could enroll in a biology class at your local junior college, or simply go to a bookstore and buy a college textbook on general biology. If you still have questions after reading the chapters on the immune system and molecular biology, just message me here. I will be happy to clarify.

It only takes one fragment of dog or nugget to block your windpipe & you can have a deserved ugly death.
Has eating them resulted in you getting fat? How's your heart?
Has the consumption triggered your cancer, diabetes, dementia?

@AnneWimsey yes I do understand. Who said anything about stopping insulin? Tell the ladies who had severely adverse reactions I'm wrong. Once the needle goes in, there's no turning back.

@Flyingsaucesir ooh, BLITHELY! Aren't you the wordsmith?

@Flyingsaucesir Well said.

@Stilltrying1964 "wordsmith" - keep using big words like that & you'll run out by supper time.

In my part of the world "You can eat hot dogs and chicken nuggets occasionally but not make them the staple of your diet" and still choke to death the first time!

@FrayedBear
Thank you

@FrayedBear, @Stilltrying1964
You know what? I don't mind that you scoff at my word choice (and, presumably, my advice). I just want to help you protect yourself and others. Failing that, I would be interested to know how you come to be so horribly misinformed. Where do you get your information? Facebook? Breitbart? Fox News? Infowars? Do tell!

@Flyingsaucesir I didnt scoff at your word choice. I presume that it is the site program that includes my contact here!πŸ˜€

@FrayedBear
Oops, I thought I was speaking to @Stilltrying1964. I must have tapped the wrong button.

@Flyingsaucesir All good!

Yup.

Found my comment humorous did you perhaps?
Well, it IS ALL FACTUAL none-the-less.

@Triphid hmmm...no, I was agreeing with you.

ALL vaccines have to pass endless tests of safety, quality, etc, etc, etc, BEFORE they can be offered up in to the Public Health system.
I read below where a few 'proclaim' that they will NOT be vaccinated because " They now what is in the vaccine."
They 'proclaim' to be eaters of 'healthy foods."
I ask them this very pertinent question, " How much of a 100% Assurance , with Proof Positive of course, do you have to offer up that the foods you ingested at your last meal, the liquids you drank, etc, etc, WERE 100% HEALTHY and/or Organically produced?
Foe example, the "Organically produced beef" you may have eaten at your last meal was, not so long ago, BREATHING the same polluted air as just about EVERY other Air breathing organism on this planet, IF it was GRASS-Fed, then it was grazing in fields/paddocks where other cattle had already been and shit everywhere and anywhere, birds had foraged and shit as they foraged, winds had blown across those fields/paddocks depositing dust and other pollutants as they passed over, the Grazier/Rancher more than likely had his herds either vaccinated or drenched for intestinal parasites, fleas, ticks and numerous other infective agents, those chemicals travel through the blood system, in to the meat, etc, etc, and STAY there.
That expensive/costly Natural Spring Water that you pay through the nose for IS usually produced by either DILUTING the water from a nearby spring with FILTERED Mains Water OR just Mains Water that has gone through numerous filtrations.
Try to REMEMBER this NEXT time you fork out your hard earned cash for a a bottle of EVIAN water, EVIAN is the Mirror reversaL of the WORD NAIVE, get the point NOW, do you?

You hit it. This is what people keep telling me but it goes deeper. I mention many things we eat or ingest and we have no idea what is in them. Next they tell me that the virus came from a lab and we came up with a vaccine way too soon. Keep hammering at that and these ignorant people will revert into QAnon history to tell you the rest. I read a report of a happy mom who got vaccinated and then wanted to see her daughter and son in law. She reportedly made the trip and was told they could not let her in because she would make them both infertile. What bullshit!

I had Covid-19 in December and a man recently told me that putting that stick like device in my nose gave me the virus. No, no, no. I did not go somewhere to simply be tested for the virus. I was sick and that was why they tested me.

How are you feeling now?
Any long-haul issues?

@KKGator No long haul issues. I recall that when I got sick I was tired and confused and simply knew I could not go to work that day. It got worse and 2 days later I was tested. Next was 2 weeks quarantine.

@DenoPenno I'm glad you aren't being plagued with the long term problems I've been hearing about.
Also, really glad you're feeling better!

Glad you got over it. Thanks for your comments.

I'm so sick of stupid people.

You don't inject hotdogs and chicken nuggets into your arm, just like you wouldn't swallow vaccines. If you did you'd probly die.

Tejas Level 8 May 18, 2021

If you swallowed a vaccine that was designed to be swallowed, like the red goo on a sugarcube that was the first polio preventative, it would work just fine!
If you swallowed a vaccine designed to be injected, you sure would not get the benefits,but nothing much else would happen,especially because injections use Very small amounts of anything. You sure have a lot to learn1

@AnneWimsey is that your professional medical opinion?

@Tejas oh, sweetie, I have a term you might want to Google: COMMON SENSE!

Dude, vaccines work. They prevent illness. They save lives. Are they perfect? No. Occasionally, one in a million (or hundred million) recipients has an allergic reaction. It still makes sense to vaccinate.

@Flyingsaucesir I'm not anti vax. Never said I was.

@AnneWimsey you want to preach about things you have no idea about, sounds like a typical Christian to me. Go get a medical degree then we can talk

@Tejas oh boy you're one of those. You dropped your tin foil hat

@redhog have i made any outrageous claims? Or are you just reading into things that aren't there?

@Tejas No, though it MAY not be her professional opinion as such, she is 1000% correct and I CAN verify it since I actually have FIVE Certificates in Nursing, those being General Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Accident and Trauma Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Midwifery as well.
I also hold a Current Level 1 Certificate as a Paramedic.

I have eaten health food all of my life. I don't want the vaccine, because I have eaten health food all of my life.

BDair Level 8 May 18, 2021

And food literally had more nutrients in it during the Middle ages, and people still died of the plague, etc.

People in the Middle Ages likely had very poor dietary habits , along with very poor hygiene and sanitation. The variety of nutritious foods available to us today is astounding. Let food be thy medicine, and medicine thy food.

Eating health doesn't stop you from getting covid. I get my first vaccine on May 21.

It is possible to build up your innate immunity with proper nutrition. A vast majority of those that were hospitalized or died with COVID were obese, diabetic, of advanced age, or were deficient in Vitamin D. Most people will have mild or no symptoms at all from exposure to a corona virus.

@BDair nice try but no. It doesn't work that way. Nothing makes me shake my head more than someone who's against vaccinations but has zero merit to their reasons and back it up with pseudo-science.

Injecting an experimental genomic therapy, with numerous possible adverse side effects, and as yet unknown long term effects, for a virus that will cause little or no harm to the vast majority of humans is pseudo-science. The fact that this therapy is being administered to the public under an Emergency Use Authorization before clincal trials have concluded is unethical. Being that there are several known effective and readily available prevention and treatment protocols already in use , it defies convention.

@xenoview Thank you!

@BDair It IS true that the majority of those who died had underlying health issues, 75% of whom were senior citizens. Those who got Covid-19 and didn’t die were either lucky or had no underlying health issues. Those without underlying health issues did not escape infection because they were healthy, they escaped infection because the virus was not introduced to their respiratory system. It is NOT true that anyone could build any kind of immunity to Covid-19 via a β€œhealthy” diet.

BDair: What you Need is to reverse that lobotomy!

@MsKathleen 99.97% of the population did not get lucky. It is just a statistically proven fact that only a miniscule segment of the population is susceptible to a serious illness caused by a corona virus. There are prevention and treatment protocols that if implemented in early onset are nearly 100% effective in reducing hospitalizations and deaths.

Vitamin D is crucial. [pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

@BDair I do not know where you think you got your information. There are slightly more than 328 million people in the US. 33 million got Covid19, which is over 10%. Over 580,000 died from it. Both of which, despite isolating, closed down businesses, hand washing, and mask wearing. Imagine how many it otherwise might have been. You can’t just pull statistics out of thin air. I cite nationally published statistics from the CDC.

@BDair Indeed, Vitamin D IS crucial. Whether there is a pandemic or not. Like Magnesium and Potassium, a high percentage of Americans are deficient.

By your figures, more than 98% of the people that got Covid did not die. It is also well documented that the 580,000 figure is the number of people that died 'with' Covid, only a much smaller percentage were clinically diagnosed to have died from Covid only.

@BDair oh, you are one of those. I understand; this is a waste of time.

Under the age of 50, the mortality rate is insignificant.

@BDair You say. "Injecting an experimental genomic therapy, with numerous possible adverse side effects, and as yet unknown long term effects, for a virus that will cause little or no harm to the vast majority of humans is pseudo-science."

And how do you know, that the virus itself does little or no harm, and has no long term side effects. Let me guess, you have a time machine, and have just returned from 2050. Since that is so, can you also please quote directly stats about the long term effects of the vacine, since by 2050 they should be in the public domian.

( Or could it be that you are applying a different logic, and values to the vacine and the virus ? )

Humans have evolved in a symbiotic relationship with microbes and viruses over eons. SARS 2 is not radically divergent from SARS 1. It did not suddenly change everything we know about virology. We have never successfully implemented a mRNA based vaccine in humans before, we do not know the long term effects. Humanity's efforts to control nature, rather than live in a natural symbiosis with it always comes with unintended consequences. See the video above.

@BDair
The official US COVID-19 death toll, as 9f mid -May, 2021, is over 585,000. The actual death toll is much higher. Most victims have been elderly or had preexisting conditions. But not all. Many young, healthy people have succumbed to this virus. And many survivors have terrible symptoms that go on and on, with no end in sight. It is definitely worth the effort to get vaccinated, if not for one's own health, then for those with whom they may have contact.

This article still holds true. [scientificamerican.com]

@BDair writes, "Under the age of 50, the mortality rate is insignificant."

Not if it's your son or daughter, niece or nephew, or grandchild who is dying.

Children are not affected by COVID 19. The vaccines are causing them significant harm however.

[rt.com]

@BDair wow youre delusional AF. Like a qanon freak or a religious nutbar

@redhog You are welcome to provide your well sourced rebuttal to any information I post. I am 'following the science' using the actual available data. You are welcome to your opinions, but there are many research scientists and medical professionals that are willing to risk their carreers and reputations to present information that counters the Big Pharma controled narrative. Censoring one side of a scientific discourse is not how science is supposed to work.

Exactly! Having the same issue with my sister about quitting smoking. She won’t try anything to help her with the nicotine addiction because of the so called chemicals in drugs. She doesn’t have a problem with all the chemicals in cigarettes though! πŸ™„

Get her a list of all the chemicals in cigarette tobacco. My ex never gave up smoking, but after seeing the 300 to 600 additives, she started rolling her own with "organic" tobacco.

@Beowulfsfriend She has emphysema and still continues smoking and coughing and gagging with every puff. ☹️ so I wouldn’t want her to go to organic either.

@Redheadedgammy 😒

2

Your verbal caricature widely misses the mark.

Nuh uh

Only because we can look up and see what is in the vaccine.

Hmmm.... how so? πŸ€”

1

Kind of does make you wonder doesn't it. πŸ€”πŸ˜

No, it does not make ME wonder. In the US, in a typical year, less than 100,000 people die from the flu, most years a LOT less. Over 570,000 people died in one year from Covid-19, in spite of Herculean efforts to stem its spread. This completely justifies bringing the vaccine to market rapidly, without long-term testing. If it proves in the future to be a mistake, it will be a lesson learned, but likely millions of lives are saved and the spread in the US is largely diminished because of it. I lost no fewer than ten friends/acquaintances, because they foolishly believed the dolt-in-charge. I do not regret either isolating, nor vaccinating.

@MsKathleen It makes me wonder why we let a generation of humans get so stupid, I isolated and vaccinated and I still don't want to see anybody because I also was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of last year.

@oldFloyd how is your cancer fight going? I hope you are recovering.

I am afraid the β€œdumbing down” of Americans has been intentional.

@oldFloyd
There are some amazing new therapies for cancer. Immunotherapy (training the immune system to recognize and attack cancer cells) looks particularly promising. It is still early days, but good things are happening. Best of luck to you.

@MsKathleen Start my second 3 weeks on keytruda if I passed the first round. And yes I painfully know that the dumbing down was intentional. πŸ˜‰

@MsKathleen, @Flyingsaucesir Thanks πŸ‘
