Well the old saying that "Fool and His money are easily parted" rings true around here today.
After complaining to Garage Owner about him supplying a battery with the poles in the wrong place for his vehicle, Evaqngelidiot ( aka the Village Fool, Jesus Addict, Jesus Jockey, 2 loaves short of a sandwich, etc,) just informed yours truly that,

  1. "He has no longer got a Credit Account with the Garage in question because the Owner has canceled, Why he does not know,
  2. He would NOT be giving them his custom ever again since the Owner charged him a $35.00 Call out Fee and an EXTRA $110.00 for Fitting the battery.when he did was to turn the battery around in a half circle and then attach the leads to it."
I have been acquainted and friends with the Garage Owner since we were at High School together, I worked at the local Hospital with his late wife for a number of years, he's always been a decent and honest bloke both in his ordinary, every day life and his business dealing, so I guess the decision to "Cancel" idiots Credit Account at the Garage was more for peace of mind than business reasons.

Yep. Sounds like the religion I left where you are 100% wrong and we are always 1000% right even if we have no evidence to back it up.

Wow just wow, even as a kid I knew things could be turned around, rotated, flipped even on occasional inverted. He really is a special kind of stupid. How does he stay alive? Oh thats right you are a helpful neighbour and kick chainsaws that are trying to kill him out of the way.

You really should write these up in a book ala They're a Weird Mob (IIRC)
There are independent publishers who would surely print it.

So, let me get this straight Evangelidiot bought a battery and put it in his vehicle himself and did not know he did it wrong. Then he called the Garage because the vehicle would not run. Mechanic comes out and sees the problem installs the battery correctly and the charges for his time. Yeah. I'd cancel the silly fool too PLUS take him to small claims court to get my money. YIKES!

No, not exactly like you've thought and posted.
He had the battery delivered, went to install it himself, WHICH of course he'd do since he tells everyone he is an expert at ALL things btw, but found that the Positive terminal and the Positive Lead did NOT reach each other, as did the Negative ones as well, because the battery terminals were, according to him and his expert knowledge (LOL) fitted/built on to the WRONG kind of battery for his Mitsubishi Triton Utility.

As a woman I was not permitted to take woodshop, or auto mechanics in school. Dad hated the auto & brother did not wish to interact with me to teach me about the auto. I took a course or 2 but learned little. It is Youtube that helped me turn the battery around,. A great equilizer that internet, if your country's government permits it.

Oh we are being quite witty and somewhat sarcastic here I assume aren't we?
Yes, we Australians DO HAVE the Internet, Yes, we are allowed to use it as FREELY and as OFTEN as we so desire.
Does your Government actually permit fuck-knuckles to have access to Public Services and Utilities AND USE them as well or you merely pirating ?

@Triphid Sorry. I meant "if ones country permits" the internet. North Korea comes to mind.

@Mooolah My apologies since I assumed that even Knuckle-dragging Mouth-Breeders like yourself, in MY opinion of course, MIGHT be capable of reading a map of the world and noting that Australia is a long, long way SOUTH of Nth. Korea.

@Triphid Let's start over without the derogatory remarks. "...if one's country permits the internet." I did not mean YOUR country. I meant ONE'S country. & North Korea does not permit the internet, Jordan does not permit Agnostic.com. Australia is so positioned that it is privy to the Aurora Australis. In no way would I insult Australia. North Korea, I would & did.

The Evangeloon's saga continues.

And, imo, so does the Fuck-Knuckle, Knuckle-Dragger posting drivel saga as well.

Which, the battery terminals or Evangelidiots?
Personally, never had a problem such as this, just used my brain, rotated the battery through 180 degrees on its horizontal plane and voila, it connects no problems.

I always love reading these.

Same here.

To what extent is he aware of his own intellectual ineptitude?

Honestly, HE believes he knows about EVERYTHING and will seriously tell anyone what a knowledgeable person he his.

@Triphid Sigh. A prime example of the Dunning-Kruger effect. I admire your patience with him.

As a teenager I worked 2 summers on a marina. On rare occasions an Evinrude outboard motor could get its cowling displaced so the flywheel rubbed and made an awful howling noise.

When a tourist called a mechanic for help, the mechanic would make a big show about 'fixing the motor without any tools'. Then he would give the motor a swift kick, the cowling would settle into place and the motor would be all better.

Then the only question would be how big a tip he could scam out of the tourist.😋

Some people shouldn't be allowed out in public.

Good for him!

3

The same mechanic who installed a battery backwards charged $145 to turn it around?

No, Evangelidiot installed the battery first not the Mechanic.

3

I'd be cancelling his account, too....

2

Maybe he will finally learn. Where I work we install a battery totally free but we will not touch a Dodge or Chrysler product. Too much work to change those batteries.

8

Jesus will just have to fix your Evangelidiot’s car problem next time! 😂😂

With a little prayer, it'd never woulda broke down !

Sounds like the garage owner values sanity over dealing with stupidity. Bad neighbors suck; glad you can find some humor in such a whack.
